Some days you get caught with your pants down and yesterday was one of those days. I just do the research and type up the analysis but sometimes it doesn’t matter like yesterday. However, the analysis has consistently worked out for us since 2015 and it will continue to work out for us - FOR-EV-ER!
1:00 EST Seahawks (-105) - The Seahawks are coming off of a BYE week and they are also coming off of their biggest win of the season when they knocked off the undefeated 49ers in overtime on Monday Night Football. I typically get a little shy about taking a West Coast team on the East Coast for a 1 o’clock game because it’s like a 10 a.m. game PST but the Seahawks have had a BYE week to prepare for the early start. The Eagles have lost 3 out of their last 5 games and are just .500 on the season although they are a tougher team than that record shows. The Seahawks come in 8-2 and they have shown their ability to compete with some of the best teams in the league. Russell Wilson is having himself a YEAR and has thrown 23 touchdowns to just 2 interceptions so far. I think he will continue to make plays in this game today and I think that will be the difference. I like the Seahawks coming off of a BYE week and I think the Eagles may come out a little flat after a tough loss at home to the Patriots last week. 1:00 EST Bills (-3) - The spread is at -3.5 but let’s buy the half point to get this one at -3 to protect ourselves. The Bills bounced back last week with a 17 point win over a bad Dolphins team but that was good to see after they lost 19-16 against the Browns the week before. They are now 7-3 and are right in the AFC Playoff hunt. They have more to play for than this 3-7 Broncos team that is just 1-4 on the road this season. The Broncos were up 20-0 at half against the Vikings last week before the Vikings outscored them 27-3 in the second half. No momentum and no hope for this Broncos team going on the road to a tough place to play in Buffalo where it’ll be 36 degrees at kickoff. Bills QB won the AFC Offensive player of the week award last week after throwing for 3 touchdowns against the Dolphins. Both defenses have been good holding their opponents to less than 20 points per game. I’m more confident in the Bills making plays and playing with a purpose in this one where the Broncos season is getting to the point of slipping away. Go Bills! 8:20 EST
Packers (+150) - Nice one here paying +150 odds for us on Sunday Night Football. The Packers are coming off of a BYE week so they have had extra time to prepare for this BIG NFC matchup. The 49ers have struggled in recent weeks with that loss to the Seahawks and just sneaking by the Cardinals twice. They have allowed an average of 145 rushing yards per game so look for the Green Bay backfield duo of Aaron Jones and Jamaal Williams to get going. Oh, and just when the 49ers feel like they are starting to slow down the run, the Packers have Aaron Rodgers to throw the deep ball over their heads. Some “experts” are suggesting this one will be a defensive battle but I don’t think that’ll be the case. I think it will be a fun, entertaining game and I think the Packers matchup well and will outscore the 49ers tonight. GO PACK GO! Teaser Selections: Play in groups of 2 to be most profitable: Saints (-3.5) Steelers (-0) Falcons / Bucs Over (45.5) Browns (-4.5)
