2-0 last night with an 8-1 win and the NBA under was on pace to go WAY under until both teams scored more in the 4th quarter than they did in any other quarter. It still hit comfortably! That’s now 5-0 to start the week with a JACKHAMMER win to make us +7-8 units depending on how hard you smashed the JACKHAMMER. We have a long Holiday weekend coming up with plenty of action so let’s put together another profitable day tonight to build our bankrolls up. I’d like to put us in position to take a chance on a WILD parlay over the Holiday. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves, let’s see what we have to build on our 5-0 streak tonight! NBA: Parlay 7:05 EST Celtics ML / Lakers ML (-129) - JACKHAMMER - The Celtics and Lakers parlay has been profitable to us so far this season since we have gone 3-0. We took it on Monday, Nov 15 (as a 2X JACKHAMMER), and Nov 5. Both teams have good matchups again tonight so we are dropping the hammer. The Celtics will be home where they have not lost this season. They will take on a Nets team who will be missing Kyrie Irving. It’s too bad Kyrie won’t be playing in The Garden tonight. The Nets have actually been playing better without Kyrie but they have won their last two games by 4 points combined and those games were against the 5-12 Cavaliers and 4-13 Knicks. Say hello to the 12-4 Celtics tonight who will have their leading scorer Kemba Walker back from his neck injury. The crowd will be giving him a boost tonight after what looked to be a potentially very serious injury last Friday. Then we have the 15-2 Lakers going on the road to take on the Pelicans. It will be a homecoming for Anthony Davis and I’m sure he will be showing off in front of his old fans tonight. The Pelicans are not playing defense this season and have allowed their opponents to score an average of 120.4 points per game. They are also coming off of a 25 point loss to the other team from LA. The Lakers have won 8 in a row and I think they will continue that streak tonight against the 6-11 Pelicans. NHL: 7:00 EST Bruins (-155) - The Bruins came through for us in a BIG way last night beating the Canadiens 8-1. They have not won 4 games in a row and they look to be clicking again. They will be on a back to back tonight which some may be concerned about but the flight from Montreal to Ottawa is only 45 minutes. The Bruins already beat the Senators 5-2 this season back on Nov 2 and I’d expect a similar result tonight. The Senators offense comes in averaging a full goal less per game than the Bruins at 2.71 to 3.79 gpg. Tuukka Rask will be back in net for the Bruins tonight and he only allowed 2 goals on 32 shot attempts back in that win on Nov 2. I like the Bruins to keep rolling tonight! 10:30 EST Islanders (-130) - The Islanders have lost the first two games of their road trip but they had won 15 of their last 16 before that. So look for them to get another winning streak started tonight when they take on the 9-13-2 Kings who have lost 3 of their last 5 games. I like the matchup for the Islanders tonight because the Kings are allowing 3.46 goals per game so they should be able to put up 3 plus and it should be tough for the Kings to keep up since they are only averaging 2.63 goals per game this season. The Islanders have been going every other game with their goaltenders and it is looking like it will be Semyon Varlamov tonight. He has a 2.63 goals against average which is exactly what the Kings have averaged this season. With tonight being one of the biggest drinking nights of the year, I would set the moneyline on a chance one of you guys will be drinking a long island while cheering on the Islanders at -2500 tonight. LFG!
I am keeping my eye on one more NHL game, check back in by 6 pm EST for that one. Depends on the goalie!
