12/9 VIP Picks

We have had better NFL Sundays. I was hoping the Seahawks could have closed it out for us late last night but they didn’t show up. Texans played their Superbowl last week and then got down 31-3 at halftime to the 4-8 Broncos. It wasn’t one of the VIP picks but I feel for anyone who bet on the Patriots last night. The game was clearly fixed and nothing anyone can say will change my mind about that. There’s no other way to explain it. CLEAR and OBVIOUS touchdowns taken away. Complete joke. Let’s see what we have for some high percentage plays to get this week started off right. NHL: Parlay: 7:00 EST Capitals ML / Bruins ML (+117) - JACKHAMMER - The Caps have won 6 in a row and 8 of their last 10. They will host a Blue Jacket team who has lost 4 games in a row and 3 of those 4 losses came by 2 goals or more. The Caps offense is averaging 3.61 goals per game this season and that’ll make it tough for Columbus who have only averaged 2.45 goals per game. I think the Caps take this one at home. Then we have the Bruins taking on a struggling Senators team. The Bruins have already beat the Senators twice this season and they have outscored them 6-3 in those games. The Bs have dropped two games in a row but they are still 20-4-6 on the season and this Senators team has lost 6 of their last 7. The Bruins need to come out and play aggressive from the start tonight, no waiting around until the 3rd period. If they make it a point to come out with the high intensity level that they are capable of, they should win this game by multiple goals. Great value for a parlay with the best two records in hockey. NBA: Clippers (-1) - The Clippers will be on the second night of a back to back tonight but they are 3-1 in those scenarios this season so I’m not worried about that. They just put up 135 points last night against the Wizards. They dropped 150 on the Wizards a week ago. Both of these teams have won 8 of their last 10 games but the Pacers have struggled against good teams this season. They lost 119-116 to the Sixers, 102-83 to the Bucks, and 111-102 to the Rockets. The Clippers are currently in 2nd place in the Western Conference so I expect the Pacers to struggle against them tonight. I think this spread is only -1 because Kawhi Leonard is listed as day to day but I like the Clippers to win this game tonight whether Kawhi plays or not. Let’s go Clippers! I have no interest in betting on the shit show of a Monday Night Football game we have tonight.
