2-1 last night and now we have 2 out of 3 profitable nights to start the New Year. BIG day today with the NFL PLAYOFFS starting up. We have a nice underdog I’ve been eyeing all week and it won’t be the last one we take in the playoffs 😜 Let’s get into today’s picks! Enjoy the games everybody!!
Bills (+125) - Here we go, Wild Card weekend kicks off with an upset and it’s the Bills over the Texans. They both come in with the same record but defense wins in the playoffs and these two teams are night and day when it comes to defense. The Bills rank #2 in the league in points allowed per game at 16.2 ppg. The Texans on the other hand rank #28 in the league in yards allowed per game at 388.3. Josh Allen will make plays with not only his arm but with his legs too. The Texans allowed 5.6 yards per rushing attempts to QBs this season which is 2nd worst in the league. The Texans lost 41-7 to the same Ravens team who the Bills played tough 24-17 towards the end of the season. The Bills were 6-2 on the road this season and they have the 2nd ranked defense in the league. Give me the Bills to start the playoffs off with an upset!
Patriots (-5) - Who the fuck did you think I was going to take? Saturday night playoff game in Gillette, give me Tom Brady and Bill Belichick over Ryan Tannehill and Mike Vrabel a million times out of 10. Of course the Patriots have struggled and all the media want to write them off but we have seen this story play out before. I’m not saying they will win the SuperBowl but time and time again, Brady & Belichick have found a way to get it done with their backs against the wall. Steve Belichick has been calling the defensive plays down the stretch but Bill will be calling the plays on the big stage. The X Factor is Derrick Henry, he has been a key part to the Titans offense and the common denominator in all 7 of the Tennessee losses this season is that Henry has been held under 100 rushing yards in all of those games. The Patriots defense ranked #6 against the run and held opponents to 95.5 yards per game this season. The Pats main focus will be to shut down Henry and they have been good against the run this year. The mainstream media is sucking the Titans dicks for going 7-3 over their final 10 games but they only beat one team with a winning record. The Patriots are 12-4 and I won’t count Tom Brady out until he’s dead. LFG!
Bills (+8.5) / Patriots (+1) - This is a minor hedge teaser on our straight plays above but definitely a high percentage play. 5 of the 6 Buffalo losses this year came by 7 points or less so I’m confident in them not only winning the game outright but covering +8.5. Tom Brady is home in the playoffs on a Saturday night and although they lost 3 games in December, they got fixed out of 2 touchdowns against the Chiefs and should have won that game. We all know you can’t be beat fix. The Brady hate is volume 10 this week and he’s always responded nicely to that. He’s the Greatest Of All Time, and he’s still here.
Jazz (-4) - The Jazz came through for us the other night and they are on a hot streak right now going 9-1 over their last 10 games! They will be on the road taking on the Magic who burned us last night but a nice boost for us tonight is the fact that the Magic are 1-4 on the second night of back to backs this season. The Jazz have held their last two opponents under 100 points and the Magic are a good candidate for them to make it three in a row tonight. I think Utah stats got for us tonight!
Cross Sport Parlay:
Lightning ML / Pacers ML (-104) - just about even money for a high percentage play tonight. The Lightning have put together a 5 game winning streak and they will take on the Senators who have lost 4 of their last 5. The Senators have lost each of their last two games by 3 goals and have allowed 4, 5, & 6 goals over their last three games. The Lightning should get their offense going tonight, they have scored 5+ goals in 3 of their last 5 games. The Pacers will be up against the Hawks who just played last night and they are 0-7 on the second night of back to backs this season losing those game by an average of 25 fucking points per game. They played the Celtics tough last night but Kemba Walker ended up not playing. The Pacers are already 2-0 against the Hawks this season with the last win coming by 10 points on 12/13. Good value parlay here!
