There will always be haters, I get that. I can also own up to the fact that we have dealt with a cold streak. But like I always say, I do what I do and the long term success speaks for itself. With that said, we need a fucking hot streak.
Bruins (-1.5) - I’m back on the Bruins bus after their 6-2 win over the Predators the other night. We should benefit from the fact that the Jets played last night and went to a shoot out so the Bruins should have an advantage of being off yesterday. The Bs only have one more win in the win column than the Jets but they are 9 points ahead of them in the standings. I’ll take the Bs with their fresh legs tonight!
Oilers (+110) - The Oilers are slight underdogs tonight in Montreal for some reason. They are coming off of two convincing wins against the Bruins and Maple Leafs. They have also scored 4+ goals in 3 of their last 5 games. The Canadiens on the other hand have lost 7 in a row and the Oilers already beat them earlier this season. Give me the plus money!!
Stars (-135) - The Stars got it done for us last night in LA and they will only be playing a half hour away tonight against a Ducks team that they have already beat this season. The Ducks have been struggling and have lost 4 of their last 5. The Stars have gone 5-2 on the second night of back to backs this season so I’m not concerned about that. The Stars also come into this game riding a 5 game winning streak. The Ducks are hosting the Dallas Stars and the theme for tonight’s game is “Country Night.” Seriously, look it up. Take the team from Dallas tonight.
Wichita State / Memphis Over (140.5) - at first glance, this game looks to be going over 140.5 easily. Both of these teams are averaging in the upper 70s with Memphis averaging 79.3 points per game and Wichita State averaging 76.9 points per game. If you take the scores from each team’s last 5 games, they would have gone over 140.5 in 3 of 5 games. They both also scored 80+ in 2 games each. Memphis put up 97 in one game. There is no doubt that these two teams can score at a high rate and I think we will see that on display tonight. Give me the over!
