Well looking back at what happened yesterday still seems as crazy today as it did yesterday, two of our bets had a 40-0 and a 34-0 lead but both of them lost. That is fucking absurd. That’s all I have to say about that. 40-0 and 34-0.
LSU (-5) - How can you bet against LSU with what they have done this season? 6-0 against Top 10 opponents. Joe Burrow has thrown for 300+ yards in 12 of his 14 games this season while racking up 5,208 yards and 55 touchdown passes. He led this #1 ranked LSU offense that averaged 48.9 points per game this season. They just put up 63 in a PLAYOFF game. Clemson’s pass defense was at the top of College Football this season but they haven’t seen an offense like they will tonight. Clemson’s offense has also been very powerful this season and they come in averaging 45.3 points per game. The LSU defense was gashed in a few games this season but they were good down the stretch. The Clemson offense is too good to shut down completely but a key stop or two by this LSU defense will be the difference in this game. Clemson got off to a slow start in their last game against Ohio State when they were down 16-0. If they get off to a slow start like that, they will have no chance of coming back against this LSU offense. LSU has played a stronger schedule and they have looked better than Clemson while doing it. I’ll take the best team in College Football to finish off their season on top and cover -5.
Trevor Lawrence Total Completions Over (20.5) - You might be wondering why we would take the over on Clemson’s QB total completions when we are betting on LSU to cover but here’s why. I expect LSU’s high scoring offense to continue to score at a high rate in tonight’s game. That will put the pressure on Clemson to keep pace and throw the ball more. Lawrence had 20+ completions in 6 of his 12 regular season games but keep in mind that 11 of those 12 games were over by the end of the 3rd quarter. He will be throwing through the whole game tonight, he won’t have any other option. I like him to go over 20 completions tonight.
Bruins (-130) - The Bruins come in on a 3 game winning streak and we know how streaky they have been this season. It was good to see them finally win a game in overtime the other night since that has haunted them this season. They will be in Philly tonight taking on the Flyers who have lost 4 of their last 5 games. The Flyers have also allowed their opponents to score 5+ goals in 3 of their last 5 games. Bsssss!
