2-1 on Championship Sunday isn’t bad but Henry had 16 rushing attempts in the first half alone. We only needed 8 in the second half to go 3-0! The SuperBowl is set and it is lining up to be a good one. Early feels is to take the Chiefs -1.5 but I’ll wait to see the line movement. Let’s get into our MLK Monday - I HAD A DREAM!
Avalanche (-1.5) - The Red Wings come in on a four game losing streak and they have been outscored by 14 goals in those games. Colorado comes in with two straight wins and they covered the puck line -1.5 in both of them. They scored 3+ goals in 4 of their last 5 games. They shouldn’t have a problem scoring today against Detroit who has allowed 3.84 goals per game this season. Yup, you guessed it - that’s worst in the league. I like the Avs to cover today.
Sixers (-1.5) - The Sixers missed the spread by 1 on Saturday but let’s fire on them again today. They will be on the road taking on the Nets who they just beat 117-106 last week. Kyrie has been back but the Nets have lost three straight games by 10+ points and he’s up to his usual fuck up the locker room antics. The Nets are just 2-8 over their last 10 games. Embiid is out and Horford is questionable but I like the 28-16 Sixers to beat the 18-23 Nets by a basket today. Give me the -1.5!
Lakers @ Celtics Over (223.5) - The Celtics and Lakers have been playing some high scoring games as of late. The Lakers have averaged 124 points per game over their last 5 and the Celtics have averaged 119 points per game over their last 5. Another nice stat is that these two teams who have shown good defense this season have not shown it recently and they have allowed their opponents to score 110+ points in 7 of their last 10 combined games. I think this one will be high scoring and fun to watch tonight.
