2-1 day and we were close to 3-0 with the Bruins making it interesting in the final minute last night. That’s now 5-2-1 in our last 2 days so let’s keep things on the up and up tonight!
Senators / Flyers Over (6.5) – Both of the first two meetings of the season between these two teams have gone over 6.5. The Flyers won the first one 7-4 and the Sens won the second one 4-3. The Flyers have been playing some high scoring games as of late with 7 of their last 10 going over 6.5. The Sens aren’t known for their offense but they have allowed their opponents to score 5, 5, & 4 goals in their last 5 games. They have allowed their opponents to score 3.74 goals per game all season so it’s not just a recent trend. With the way the Flyers have been playing I’d expect a similar result tonight. The Flyers have allowed 3 of their last 5 opponents to score 3 goals and that’s right in line with the Sens season average 2.94 goals per game. I like the over in this one.
Sharks (-120) – The Sharks have won 4 in a row and are 13-4 in their last 17. They will be on the road tonight playing the Wild who allowed 6 goals to the Panthers in their last game. The Wild have also lost 3 of their last 5. Sharks have won both meetings against the Wild this season including a 4-0 win last time they played in Minnesota. I think it’s a good price tag on the Sharks tonight who are clearly the better and hotter team right now.
Celtics (-2) – Did someone say turning point? The Celts have looked great on their West Coast road trip and will look to complete the sweep tonight. They had a battle against the Kings on a back to back after dominating the Warriors. Now they have had a day off in LA after beating up on old buddy LeBron and haven’t had to travel as they will play in the same building tonight. The Celts are pretty much locked in to the 3-5 seed no matter what happens the rest of the way but they will be looking to secure home court in the first round and continue to play good basketball down the stretch. They lost to this Clippers team a month ago but I do think the Celts are in a different place now than they were a month ago. Cssssssss!

Wofford (-7.5) – If you haven’t already, tonight’s a good night for you to sit down and check out Wofford before the big dance starts next week. Although they have struggled against a few top programs this season, they have taken care of business against lesser opponents and have won 19 games in a row. Speaking of lesser opponents, they will play one of them tonight when they take on UNC Greensboro who they have beat twice this season 72-43 and 80-50. After two dominating wins like that, we have to jump on Wofford tonight at -7! This game will be played on ESPN.
