There’s heating up and then there’s ON FIRE! We are on FIRE right now after two straight days of clean sweeps 5-0 Thursday, 4-0 last night, 9-0 run coming into Saturday! Somebody call 9-1-1 because this fire is getting out of control. Happy Saturday, enjoy it. LFG!

Noon est tee time.

Justin Rose (-0.5) over Michael Thompson – you have to love it when matchups like this fall into place. This is the #2 ranked golfer in the world taking on the #123 ranked golfer in the world. Rose 🌹 boy had a tough first round but he came back strong in round two shooting 6 under. Michael Thompson shot 1 under yesterday so Rose beat him by 5 strokes. Justin. Rose. Is. The. Better. Golfer. Book. It.

Dustin Johnson (-0.5) over Byeong Hun An – another favorable matchup here with DJ the #1 ranked golfer matching up against Hun An the #50 ranked golfer. Hun An went off in round one but he only shot -1 in round two. DJ comes into round 3 5 strokes out of the lead so he should be getting aggressive today. I’ll take an aggressive DJ over Byeong Hun An.

NBA: Hawks / Celtics Over (232.5) – I’ll be at this one and I’ll be drunk. Cmon, St Patty’s Day in Boston what do you expect. Of course I’m taking the over in this game. Not just because of my heritage but because of these stats I have for you. The Hawks lead the league in points scored per game since the All-Star break with 123.6. I bet you didn’t know that. The Hawks aren’t the best defensive team, actually they’re the worst in the league allowing 118.6 points per game. The Celts have scored 120+ in 3 of their last 5 games and they should score at will against this Hawks defense today. Let’s not forget the Celtics allowed the Clippers to score 140 on Monday night. Loving the over in this one.

Pacers / Nuggets Over (214) – 17 of the last 20 Nugget home games have gone OVER 214. There’s a reason for that and it’s the fact that the thin air makes it a bit tougher to catch your breathe and teams don’t play defense the same way they do in lower altitude locations. The Pacers are averaging 108 points per game and the Nuggets are averaging 112 points per game. These two haven’t played each other yet this season but that 17 out of 20 over stat for the last 20 games in Denver is too much to ignore. OVER!

NHL: Islanders (-1.5) – Crack open the bottles and make a Long Island iced tea for this one. Yes, the Red Wings almost key word ALMOST beat the Lightning in their last game but they didn’t and they lost their fourth straight game while allowing 4 goals in the 3rd period. Meanwhile, the Islanders have won 4 of their last 5 and are 2-0 against the Red Wings this season. You can really hammer the moneyline in this one if you want but I’m confident in the -1.5 puck line because the Islanders are 6-2 against the puck line in their last 8 wins.

Penguins (-145) – 🐧 talk about a team getting hot at the right time. The Penguins are 7-2 in their last 9 and they are looking like a team nobody wants to play in the playoffs. The Blues looked like a dangerous team not that long ago when they won 11 straight but things have fallen off since then and they have lost 5 of their last 7 road games. That doesn’t look good for them going on the road to play a hot Penguins team. I’ve got the Penguins in this one. 🐧
