NFL Player Props: Dalvin Cook Fantasy Outlook & Total Rushing Touchdowns Projection

Dalvin Cook had a down year last year due to injuries but this guy is unstoppable when he's healthy and on the field. That's what makes his NFL Player Prop touchdown total look so tempting because we have seen what he has done in two of the last three seasons. Let's take a look at that prop bet and Dalvin Cook's Fantasy Outlook for the 2022 season.

Dalvin Cook Total Rushing Touchdowns Over (8.5)

Cook finished with 6 touchdowns last season which was a down year for him. He played in 13 games and had 249 carries which was 63 less carries than he had in the 2020 season. The touchdown totals he had in 2020 and 2019 are what makes this 8.5 look so good for this season. He finished with 13 touchdowns in 2019 and 16 touchdowns in 2020. He only played in 1 less game last year than he did in those seasons but he just wasn't as effective. If he stays healthy, he can be a Top 5 running back. If he misses some games, he can still go over 8.5 rushing touchdowns for us. Let's ride the over.

Dalvin Cook Fantasy Outlook

We are banking on him getting in the end zone over 8.5 from a betting perspective and that will go a long way in our fantasy leagues as well. It's not all about touchdowns, the yards count too and Cook has rushed for 1,000+ yards in each of the last three seasons. He also breaks off BIG runs and he has had a touchdown run of 66 or more yards in four straight seasons. That's a good stat for those of you who play in leagues that have the long run and big play bonuses. Cook is also a threat to catch the ball out of the backfield and has had 49, 54, 63, and 49 receptions in the last four seasons which is straight cash for a running back in a points per reception league. I think he's a Top 5 guy this season.
