WOW tough luck yesterday with the Yankees coasting to a 3-0 lead until the 7th where things got blown with the Marlins scoring 2. Rember these type of games in the future when I throw out big moneylines rather than run lines. Then we had the Rangers coast with a lead all the way into the 9th inning where they gave up 2 runs to blow it and lose. TOUGH start the the week but let’s turn it around today. Plenty of day action to do just that.
1:10 EST
Dodgers (Miller) (-166) 🥇💪
The Dodgers have won the first 2 games of this series and the Twins are coming in on a 4 game losing streak.
Bobby Miller will pitch for the Dodgers who had some issues his last time out in the cold swirling winds in Chicago but the weather for game time looks like sunny and high 60s so he should be fine today.
The Dodgers will face Chris Paddack who a few of them have seen from his days in their division with the Padres. Mookie is 5 for 6 against the guy. I like the Dodgers to get to him today.
Risky betting more to win less when you’re down on the week but I like playing this one to win 1 unit.
1:15 EST
Phillies (Nola) (-155) 🥈
Aaron Nola will pitch for the Phillies and he’s coming off of a 5.2 scoreless inning stint where he only allowed 2 hits. Granted that was against the Nationals but it still had to feel good for him to get on track and give him confidence heading into today.
He has dominated the guys in this Cardinals lineup in the past holding them to a .196 avg in over 100 at bats.
Lance Lynn got knocked around by the Marlins his last time out and this Phillies team scored 5 runs in 5.1 innings against him last time they faced him almost a year ago on 4/18/23.
Nola should turn in a quality start and the Phils should be able to get him the run support he needs to get the win.
3:10 EST
Diamondbacks (Henry) (-135) 🥉
I thought about taking the over in this game but 48 degrees has my leaning towards DBacks moneyline instead.
The DBacks are facing Austin Gomber who they should bomb away against today, they come in hitting .388 against this guy! That’s like better numbers than any team has against any pitcher in the league. They scored 4 runs in 4.2 innings against him a couple weeks ago including 2 homeruns.
The catch is that Tommy Henry is pitching for the DBacks who got smoked vs this Rockies lineup a couple weeks ago allowing 5 runs in 4 innings. Henry did bounce back nicely in his last start holding a good Braves lineup to 2 runs over 5 innings so we will see how this goes today.
ARI did snap their losing streak last night and they will score plenty off of Gomber but the X Factor is going to be how Henry holds up on the mound.

Yankees (Stroman) (-1.5)
It didn’t work out last night but we are going right back to it tonight.
The 10-1 Yankees face the 1-11 Marlins
Ryan Weathers is pitching for the Marlins and the guys who have faced him from this Yankees lineup are hitting .692 against him, not a typo 6-9-2 in a small sample size. The Marlins have lost Weathers first 2 starts 8-5 and 9-3.
Marcus Stroman will pitch for the Yankees and he’s yet to allow an earned run in 12 innings pitched on the season. There are a few Marlins who have had some success against him but he’s been good against them for the most part.
You can go strong on the moneyline if you prefer that over the run line but I think the Yankees will run away with this one tonight.
