Some nice movement with the 3-1 day but sucks we were 1 point away from a 4-0 sweep and Jimmy only needed the 1 point in the final 7 minutes of the game. He got hurt in that game and now he’s out with an MCL. Let’s put together another winning day today!

The Rays have lost 2 of the first 3 games in this series but they get to face Angels startin pitcher Griffin Canning today.

Ryan Pepiot will pitch for the Rays and it hasn’t been pretty for him in 2 of his 3 starts but the 1 good start was great where he threw 6 scoreless innings with 11 strikeouts. No one in the Angels lineup has ever faced Pepiot so you’d think it’ll take a time or two through the order to get anything going and hopefully by then, the Rays have already built a lead against Canning who has been getting shelled.

The Cubs will host the 4-15 Marlins tonight
AJ Puk will pitch for the Marlins and he had an outing at Wrigley last year where he allowed 3 runs and couldn’t even record 3 outs.
James Taillon will pitch for the Cubs and it will be his first start of the season. He’s held this Marlins lineup to a .257 avg in a small sample size.
The Cubs have been hot winning 4 of their last 5 and the Marlins have lost 3 of their last 4.
There is rain in the forecast but I’ll take our chances as this is the best matchup of the day in my opinion.
