VIP Picks 8/9

3-0! 3-0! 3-0! Things have been heating up in the month of August for us and we are 15-4 in our last 19 MLB plays since August 3rd. Let’s keep it rolling today with some more high percentage plays and don’t get greedy with long shot parlays. Keep cashing!

Jays (-158) or (-1) - The Jays lost last night but they will have Manoah on the mound tonight who only allowed 1 hit over 6 innings in an 11-1 win in the only game he’s faced this Baltimore lineup this season back on 6/13. He’s also held Baltimore to a .140 avg in 59 career at bats so expect him to dominate tonight. Kyle Bradish will pitch for Baltimore and he was on the wrong side of that 11-1 game back on 6/13. Toronto scored 5 runs in 4.1 innings against him and they come in hitting over .400 against him. Vlad has a 19 game hitting streak going (I stand correct on yesterday’s write up because he went hitless in the All Star Game which doesn’t count) and he should lead the charge for the Jays against Bradish tonight.

Mets ML / Cardinals ML (+105) - The Mets get to take on Mike Minor and what a loser he is. He’s lost 8 in a row and 10 of his 11 starts this season. He has a 6.19 ERA and I’d expect the Mets offense to jump him early tonight. Carlos Carrasco will pitch for the Mets and he’s a winner, winning 6 games in a row. He has held this Reds lineup to a .197 avg. Then we have the Cardinals who are getting HOT and they have won 7 in a row. They will face Ryan Feltner who comes in on a 6 game losing steak with a 7.37 ERA during that stretch. Miles Mustache Mikolas will pitch for STL and he’s pitched 6+ innings while allowing 3 or less earned runs in 5 of his last 6 starts. Love this one tonight.

Player Prop Parlay

Bogaerts O (0.5) Hits / Mookie Betts O (0.5) Hits (+111) - A couple old teammates teaming up for the hits parlay tonight and we have some really good trends to go with this one. Xander Bogaerts has 36 career at bats against Braves starter Charlie Morton and he’s hitting .361 against him with 2 career homeruns. Bogaerts has got a hit in 7 of his 9 games following an off day this season. I know - I find some pretty deep stats that no one else on GamblingTwitter come up with. Hot and humid at Fenway tonight so the ball should be flying. Then we have Mookie Betts who has hit safely in 17 of his last 20 games. He’s hitting .375 in the month of August and is the spark plug for the #1 rated Dodgers offense.
