1-3 start to the week, Josh Allen had to play really REALLY bad for the Bills to lose that game and he did. 4 turnovers and still should have won. Garrett Wilson got 5 receptions when we needed 6 and that came from back up Zach Wilson due to the Aaron Rodgers injury on the first series. Then the Astros couldn’t get a hit in 6 innings vs Ken Waldichuk. What is going on in the gambling world these days!? On to today to try and get the week going in the right direction. We have some really nice trends (84%+ in 2 of the 3) so I'm confident in the much needed 3-0 night!
Same Game Parlay
Orioles ML / Gunnar Henderson Hit (-135)
The Orioles are facing the Cardinals who they beat 11-5 last night and Adam Wainwright who has lost 10 of his last 11 and has an 8.19 ERA on the season
The Orioles lineup has been tearing the cover off of the ball and they have scored 10+ runs themselves in 4 of their last 5 games
John Means will pitch for the O’s and it’s his first start since April which is a little sketch and that’s the reason why we are going same game parlay with the Gunnar hit rather than straight run line
However, Means had a 3.38 ERA in 2 starts so I’m confident he will be good enough tonight especially with the way BAL has been swinging it
Gunnar Henderson has hit safely in 22 of his last 25 games (88% trend)
Run it back parlay
Astros ML / Mariners ML (-103)
The Astros couldn’t hit Waldichuk last night which is a major concern but they will face another guy who they have had success against in the past when they face 4-11 JP Sears who they come in hitting .308 against and are 2-0 against this season.
Justin Verlander is pitching for the Astros and they are 5-2 with him on the mound since coming back to Houston. He hasn’t faced this A’s lineup much but the guys who have faced him are just 3 for 25 lifetime.
Patrick Sandoval will pitch for the Angels and the Mariners knocked him around for 5 runs in 5 innings on 10 hits in the only game they faced him this season
They also come in hitting just under .300 against Sandoval including Julio Rodriguez’s 2 career homeruns against him
Bryan Woo will pitch for SEA and he held LAA to 2 runs over 6 innings in a 5-3 win on 8/3
Player Prop Hit Parlay
Cody Bellinger / Julio Rodriguez (-121)
Bellinger has hit safely in 17 of his last 20 games (85%) and he will be playing at hitter friendly Coors Field tonight
Bellinger will face Chris Flexen who he is 2 for 2 against in his career
Julio Rodriguez will face Patrick Sandoval who he is 3 for 8 with 2 homeruns lifetime
Julio has been red hot going 4 for 5 last night, hitting safely in 21 of his last 25 (84%), and he’s hit 6 homeruns in his last 7 games.
