I knew Coastal’s defense was soft but I thought their offense would play a lot better than they did. I was SO confident in that play going into it and we were in position to make it but now we have some work to do over the next three days.
Cubs ML / Twins ML (-108)
Cubs are facing Rockies starter/opener Noah Davis who comes in with a 9.58 ERA this season
James Taillon will pitch for the Cubs and he’s held opponents to 2 or less earned runs in each of his last 5 starts at home
Cubs are battling for a Wild Card spot and the Rockies have already been eliminated.
The Twins can clinic the AL Central with a win tonight and are going up against the Angels who have lost 7 of their last 8 games
Pablo Lopez pitching for MIn & he’s held this Angels lineup to a .186 avg in 48 at bats
Player Prop Hit Parlay
Ronald Acuna Jr Hit / Mookie Betts Hit (-133)
Acuna Jr has hit safely in 13 of his last 14 games and he’s currently -2500 to win the NL MVP
He’s facing Patrick Corbin tonight who he’s hitting .281 against lifetime
Mookie is facing Sean Manaea who he comes in hitting .385 against (10 for 26) with 3 career homeruns against
Mookie has hit safely in 7 of his last 11 games and it would be higher if he didn’t get walked 9 times during that stretch. Manaea usually has good control and has had 2 or less walks in 14 of his last 15 games with 3+ innings pitched.
NC State ML / Astros ML (-112)
NC State QB Brenna Armstrong will have a homecoming against his former team tonight, he’s completed 63% of his passes this season whole leading NC State to a 2-1 record with the 1 loss coming against Notre Dame who is now #9.
Virginia is 0-3 and 2 of those 3 losses have been by 28+ points
I love NC State in this matchup because of they convert on third down 47% of the time and they’re average time of possession is 30+ minutes per game so they have the ball 62% of the game.
Virginia is also ranked 116 in turnover margin so expect them to turn the ball over at least a couple times tonight.
Framber Valdez will pitch for the Astros and he just shut down this Royals lineup on Sunday when he held them to just 1 run over 7 innings in a 7-1 win.
Cole Ragans will pitch for the Royals and the Astros lineup was able to score 5 runs in 6 innings against him last Saturday.
The Astros have also hit roughly 20 points higher on their batting average vs lefties this season compared to righties - .272 vs .254
With 3 teams within a half game of eachother in the AL West, this game tonight and really this whole series is a must win scenario for the Astros so they shouldn’t let us down.
1st Half Team Total
Air Force Over (12.5)
Air Force has the second best rushing attack in the Nation averaging 320 rushing yards per game and San Jose St has struggled stopping the run ranking 115th allowing 198 rushing yards per game.
I think this is the X factor that gives Air Force a major advantage in this matchup, control the game and get whatever they want on the ground while playing how they’re comfortable.
AF scored 32 in the first half last week and 28 in the first half in their first game of the season
