Man what a puke fest from the Rangers and Astros last night! Thankfully we hit the Aberg play early in the day to limit the damage. On to Saturday and still no betting pre season football. College Football next Saturday boys. We are close.

Blue Jays (-150) 

They are taking on Patrick Corbin today who they are hitting .322 against and he’s struggled in his last 2 starts for a 7.36 ERA in August. Eric Lauer od pitching for Toronto and the numbers are the numbers, he’s 7-2 with a 2.82 ERA. I don’t know how but he is. He’s also been good vs the Rangers he’s faced holding them to a .143 avg. Rangers have lost 4 of last 5 and Blue Jays have won 4 of last 5 so let’s take the hot team here.

Red Sox (-1.5)

The Red Sox bats were quiet last night but they still found a way to win with that Fenway Magic and they just keep playing great baseball at home. Today they take on 4-9 Cal Quantrill who has lost 7 of his 9 by 2+ runs this season. He’s coming in with a 5.09 ERA on the season and 8.64 in August. The Red Sox don’t have a ton of history against him other than last night’s hero Trevor Story who comes in hitting .357 against him. Brayan Bello will pitch for the Red Sox and he’s been great at home with a 3.09 ERA. Red Sox win big and cover -1.5 for us.

Dodgers (-130) 

The Dodgers and Padres are battling for the NL West and it’s going to be a good finish. The Dodgers will face Dylan Cease today who they scored 6 runs off of in 5 innings last time they faced him in LA. The top hitters in the Dodger lineup have had success against him so I love seeing that with Ohtani the highlight .360 with 3 homeruns. Cease is 5-10 on the season. Blake Snell pitches for LA vs his former team and he’s held the guys he’s faced to a .209 avg in 86 at bats. Let’s take the Dodgers to get the win.
