Surprisingly enough, I am seeing a lot of games that I think will be low scoring games on the slate tonight so it made my decision easy when I saw the over under listed at 10 for this Reds and Rockies game. Fire up the smoker because Noah Davis is on the mound for the Rockies & he gave up 7 runs in 2 innings last time he pitched at the big league level on 4/29. Since then, he's just been getting rocked and I mean ROCKED at the Minor League level allowing 15 runs in 3 starts in the month of June. He just allowed 2 homeruns in 2 innings three days ago. Elly De La Cruz only has 1 homerun in 12 games but it feels like he's due for one and it's a great matchup against a guy who has been getting lit up in the minors. Plus the Rockies bullpen sucks so he will likely face them when the Reds decide to take Davis off of the smoker. Ben Lively will pitch for the Reds & he's allowed 5 homeruns in his last 3 starts so he can definitely give some up too. 75 degrees in Cinci for first pitch so I think the ball will be flying in that game tonight.
