Hey, what are you going to do? We took the wrong underdog in the CFB Playoff last night. We took the underdog who was having a hard time snapping the football to their QB cleanly, not the underdog who was throwing 60 yard bombs all night. We did hit the teaser which was easy so we start the week 1-2.

Sixers ML / Bruins ML (-135)
The Sixers are getting Joel Embiid back from his ankle injury tonight and they are home so they should start the new year off with a win against the Bulls who actually just beat them without Embiid on Saturday. DeRozan was hitting the too small celebration on Pat Bev in that game so the Sixers should be looking for revenge tonight. Favored by 10.5 at home where they are 12-4 this season? Yeah, they should win this game for us.
Then we have the Bruins who are rolling in on a 3 game winning streak scoring 14 goals during that stretch. They will face the Blue Jackets who have lost 4 of their last 5 with 3 of those losses coming in overtime. The Bruins beat the Blue Jackets 3-1 last time they faced them and Brad Marchand had a hat trick in that game.

Brandin Podziemski Points Over (8.5)
Not a guy who is usually on my radar but thanks to the AI prop sheet, he popped up as a good one for tonight.
He has gone over 8.5 points in 8 out of his last 10 games.
He’s averaged 12 ppg during that stretch so I see value on him going over 8.5 points for us.
He’s seen increased minutes going over his season average minutes played in 9 out of his last 10 games.

Canucks (-148)
The 23-10-3 Canucks will host the 14-18 Senators tonight and the Canucks have gone 13-4-1 at home this season and the Senators have gone 4-8 on the road.
The Canucks continue to play great hockey and lead the league in goals per game (3.8) as well as goal differential on the season (+44)
Joonas Korpisalo is the likely starter in net for the Senators and he’s 2-8 over his last 10 games. He also has a 3.66 GA/G so the Canucks shouldn’t have any problem scoring tonight!
Thatcher Demko is likely in net for the Canucks and he’s 9-3 at home this season. His 2.46 GA/G is 8th best in the league right now.
The Canucks beat the Senators 5-2 in the similar meeting and I expect another multi goal win tonight but let’s just take the moneyline to be safer.
