Straight plays went 3-1 yesterday so I’ll take that but I really wanted the 4-0 sweep on straight plays. The Super Bowl is set and it should be a fun one with the 49ers and Chiefs. 49ers open up as -1 favorites and the over under is listed at 47.5. I won’t even be looking at prop lines or anything until next Monday and then I’ll start prepping. For this week it’s going to be all basketball and hockey, mix in a little golf. NBA has been a struggle as of late so let’s get that back on track and stay hot with NHL and College Hoops.

Parlay
Knicks ML / Celtics ML / Sixers ML (-111)
It’s a sucker bet but I’ll be a sucker tonight because this one looks great.
The Knicks have won 6 in a row taking on the Hornets who have lost 4 of their last 5. The Knicks have also already gone 3-0 against the Hornets this season with wins of 21, 14, and 24. Julius Randle is out but the other guys should be able to get it done led by Brunson.
The Celtics are coming off of a stinker on Saturday where the starters were pulled early so they should be rested up for this one vs the Pelicans tonight. The Pelicans have lost 3 of their last 4 and they just allowed 143 to the Bucks so the Celtics offense should have their way. BOS is also 20-2 at home this season.
The Sixers have Embiid and Maxey listed as questionable so I’d wait to lock this in until later in the day when we get some more news on their status. As long as they are playing, the Sixers should blow out the Blazers who they beat 126-98 earlier this season. The Blazers have also lost 4 of their last 5.

Suns (+124)
I know they blew a 17 point lead to cost us our parlay over the weekend but this is good value on the Suns tonight.
The Heat have lost 6 in a row and they have had back to back games where they have been absolute dominated against the Knicks and the Celtics.
The Suns have lost back to back games and will be on the second night of a back to back tonight but they’ve gone 3-2 in those games this season plus the Heat have really been struggling losing 7 of their last 10.
These two actually played on Jan 5 and the Suns won that game 113-97 without Kevin Durant playing.
Let’s go with the Suns as dogs tonight.

Player Prop
D’Angelo Russell (LAL) Threes Made Over (2.5)
Russell has gone over 2.5 threes made in 6 straight games and 8 of his last 10 games
He’s hit 5, 8, 4, 6, and 3 in his last 6 games
The one downfall to this one is that the Rockets have the #2 three point defense but I still think Russell is too hot to pass up on right now, especially with the line at 2.5.

Team Total
Houston Over (67.5)
Houston comes in 4th in the country and they are averaging 74 points per game this season.
Looking at Texas when they face ranked opponents this season, they have allowed 84, 60, 73, 86, & 81. Top 10 teams have scored 81, 86, & 73.
Houston has scored 67 or more in 10 of their last 12 games.
The public bettors are all over the under in this game but I like targeting the Houston team total and if you can’t get that on your book, I like the combined over just because it’s set so low at 129.5 and both these teams are more than capable of scoring 70+ against good defenses.
