There won’t be a lot of games that we can bet on the Celtics to win straight up with odds better than -150 this season so I’m taking the -142 tonight.
The line is valid because it’s the second night of a back to back and last night was a physical game against the TWolves and tonight will likely be another physical game vs the #2 ranked defensive efficiency Rockets.
However, I believe the Celtics sat Jaylen and Porzingis last night so they are fresh for tonight. They still show as game time decisions but I expect them both to play. So full Celts squad with 2 of the top 3 who didn’t play last night sounds good to me.
The Celtics went 2-0 against the Rockets last year and dropped 145 on them in one of those game. The Celtics have also gone 7-1 in their last 8 against the Rockets.
Mazulla will want to do everything to win this game because it’s against former Celtics Coach Ime Udoka.
