1-2 night taking all 3 dogs and only 1 coming through but we lose less than a unit on the night. Royals were close and Phillies offense was just M I A. Dodgers came through for us in a big way to avoid the 0 and 3 night. On to Thursday with more MLB Playoff action and Thursday Night Football.

Guardians (Bibee) (-125) 🥉
Tanner Bibee will pitch for the Guardians trying to avoid elimination tonight and he’s a good guy to have on the mound as he’s gone 4-1 vs the Tigers this season including Game 1 of this series where he pitched 4.2 scoreless innings with 6 strikeouts. Looking at his 5 games vs the Tigers this season, he’s posted a 3.78 ERA but he’s been better against them in the more recent games 4.2 scoreless, 6 innings 2 runs, and 5 innings 1 run.
Reese Olsen will start for the Tigers who the Guardians beat in Game 1 although they only scored 1 run off of him over 5 innings. Olsen is 4-8 on the season and the Guardians have gone 2-1 against him.
Let’s back Cleveland to even up the series and force a Game 5.

49ers (-3) 🥈
If you have it at -3.5 just take the -3 adjusted line for protection because it is a Divisional Road game. With that said, the 49ers have beat the Seahawks 28-16, 31-13, 41-23, & 21-13 in the Purdy Era. 4-0 with all of those wins coming by more than a touchdown.
The Seahawks have the better record but they started with a pretty light schedule to jump out to 3-0 and now they have lost back to back games to the Lions and Giants by more than a touchdown.Â
The 49ers have lost 3 of their last 4 but all 3 of those losses have been by less than a touchdown (2 of them by a field goal or less).
The 49ers rank 5th in 3rd down conversion rate but they have come up short in the Red Zone ranking 29th in Red Zone conversion rate (finishing a drive with a touchdown). That’s a key focus for them in this game and quite honestly, it hasn’t been an issue in their recent games against the Seahawks scoring 28, 31, 41, and 21.Â
Both defenses have looked solid but the weak link is the run defense for the Seahawks so I like how that sets up the 49ers to be able to execute their game plan of establishing the run and controlling the game (especially on the road).
Give me the 49ers to cover.

Jordan Mason Rushing Yards Over (85.5) 🥇
The 49ers have not missed McCaffrey because Jordan Mason has filled his shoes and then some!Â
Mason leads the league in carries and is 2nd in the league in rushing yards - he’s gone for 147, 100, 77, 123, & 89. Those games have come vs the 14th, 2nd, 32nd, 13th, & 28th ranked run defenses. So a couple of pretty good run defenses. He’s facing the Seahawks 20th ranked run defense tonight.
Since Mason has been putting up McCaffrey numbers, let’s look closer at what McCaffrey has done vs the Seahawks in recent games - 145, 114, 119, & 108.
I’ve seen enough, Mason over 85.5 rushing yards tonight!
