Hey a winning day is a winning day especially when things have been cold so we will take the +0.58 unit Hump Day. Let’s build on that and make some noise tonight.
NFL:
8:15 EST Alt Line Parlay
Tee Higgins 25+ Rec Yds / DK Metcalf 50+ Rec Yds (-135) - Tee Higgins is coming off of his biggest game of the season which was 62 yards on 5 catches with 8 targets. He has racked up 25+ in 4 of his 6 games but last game was with Joe Flacco at QB who will be playing QB again tonight. Then we have DK Metcalf who has gone for 95 and 125 in his last 2 games. He’s also scored 4 games in a row. Both defenses are bottom of the league against the pass with the Steelers ranking 27th and the Bengals ranking 31st.
8:15 EST Alt Line Parlay
Aaron Rodgers 200+ Pass Yds / Joe Flacco 200+ Pass Yds (-110) - With a matchup of defenses who have struggled against the pass we are turning back the clocks and taking the old QBs to each throw for 200+ yards tonight. The Steelers are 27th and the Bengals are 31st against the pass. Rodgers has gone over 200 in 4 of his 5 games and Flacco has gone over 200+ in his only game as Bengals QB. Weather conditions look like a nice Fall night in Ohio so no issues for the old guys throwing the ol pigskin around tonight.
MLB:
6:07 EST
Dodgers (-174) STRONG - Bet to win 1 unit here. The Dodgers have all the momentum after taking the first 2 games in Milwaukee and now they send their 3rd ace to the mound with Tyler Glasnow. The Dodgers lost both games that he pitched against the Brewers this season but he only allowed 2 runs in 11 innings of work which is pretty fucking good. He’s held this Brewers lineup to a .141 avg lifetime. The Brewers haven’t announced a starting pitcher yet but I expect it to be Jose Quintana or an opener and then Quintana. A guy who 6 of the 9 hitters in the Dodgers lineup have taken deep before. Dodgers win big but we are just playing the moneyline as a strong play to avoid the -1.5.
8:33 EST
Blue Jays / Mariners Over (7.5) - 13-4 last night and 10-3 the game before that. Both offenses have shown some POP in this series and I think we will see more of it tonight. The broadcasts mentioned how Mariners start Luis Castillo will be starting tonight and he’s going to be tough and shut it down but he faced the Blue Jays twice this season and allowed 8 runs in 10 innings (7.20 ERA). Max Scherzer will pitch for the Jays and he hasn’t pitched in the playoffs yet since he was getting BLASTED in September with a 10.20 ERA. The Jays really don’t have any other options so that’s why Scherzer is going on there tonight. I don’t think we can validate the long term success Scherzer has had against this Mariners lineup because he isn’t the pitcher he used to be. Plus 3 of the top 5 hitters in the Mariners lineup have taken him deep before. I like the over tonight.
