The MLB straight plays stay hot and improve to 15-6 with that Philly win last night and the parlays find ways to lose - Corbin put the ball in play and got on base but he got pinch hit for in the late blowout. That NHL under was easy pickings for us with the Avs and Kraken finishing 4-1. That improves our NHL record to 4-1 on the season. Back to back winning days to start the week so let’s keep it going tonight! Small slate so we are only going 1 play tonight. The hockey and college football matchups are nothing that are worth betting on so let's focus on this MLB straight play. I know a lot of you really like 3+ plays per day but I just can't get myself to like anything about the other games on the slate tonight and I don't feel like fucking up a winning week by betting on College Football teams with losing records or questionable NHL matchups.

Astros (Javier) (+110)
Let me clarify, I’m not an Astros fan, I truly feel they have had the better matchups in the first 2 games of this series and again tonight. Let’s add another playoff underdog to the record book here.
Max Scherzer will make his return for the Rangers and there’s a ton of hype around that but the guy hasn’t pitched in a game in over a month and the last time he faced this Astros lineup, they scored 7 runs in 3 innings against him in a 12-3 win.
Cristian Javier will pitch for the Astros and he’s cold blooded in the playoffs, 5-1 with a 1.91 ERA lifetime. He did have a stretch during the season where he struggled and the Rangers knocked him around during that stretch but the long term numbers are solid and he’s held them to a .244 avg.
I think the Astros come out and get a W tonight
