Blowouts suck for player props. Not sure where Johnston was last night. Work to do this weekend.

Dodgers (-158) - I like the Dodgers to win the series and I like them to get the win in Game 1. It all starts with Blake Snell who has been on a tear riding a 14 inning scoreless streak and has only allowed 2 hits during that stretch. His ERA is 0.86 in the playoffs. This Blue Jays lineup has struggled against him in the past hitting just .212 and Vladdy is just 2 for 11. Trey Yesavage was great his last time out but don’t forget the Mariners scored 5 runs in 4 innings against him in his start before that. The Dodgers have never faced him which is a benefit for him. Seeing him have 3 walked in each of his last 2 starts makes me think this patient Dodgers lineup will get guys on base via walks and free passes to this lineup will burn Yesavage tonight. I expect the dominance of Blake Snell to continue and the Dodgers will get him the run support he needs to take Game 1.

Hit Parlay
Shohei Ohtani / Mookie Betts (-115) - We will double down on Dodgers here with 2 of their top hitters to get at least 1 hit tonight. Ohtani is coming off of the historic 3 homerun game so he is locked in coming into this game and he has hit safely in 60% of his playoff games. Mookie is a machine in the playoffs and he has hit safely in 7 of his 10 playoff games. Let’s take them both to get hits because even if they don’t get to Yesavage early, they will get hits against the Blue Jays bullpen later in the game.

North Texas ML / Virginia Tech ML / Boise St ML / Cavs ML (-125) - I know it’s a cheapie with massive chalk across the board here but we are taking the three favorites in College Football to win straight up then adding in the heavily favored Cavs to win straight up tonight. We need winners tonight to make up for last night and I’m confident in all 4 of these teams winning straight up tonight.

Same Game Parlay
Jalen Brunson 20+ Pts / Jaylen Brown 20+ Pts / Derrick White 15+ Pts (-120) - Brunson scored 23 in the Knicks opener and he went just 1 for 9 from three point land so his upside is huge tonight plus the Celtics allowed the Sixers guards to score 40 and 34 the other night. Jaylen Brown had 25 the other night so getting 20 should be achievable tonight plus it's his birthday. Derrick White had 25 the other night so he should hit 15 for us. This is the national game on Amazon Prime tonight so lock in and tune in during the commercials for the World Series game.
