Solid 3-2 night last night to start the week off with a winning day. Let’s stack winning days this week. I know we have crushed MACtion in the past but I’m focusing on NBA and MLB tonight.
NBA:
7:30 EST
Knicks (-162)
Both teams come in 1-2 but the Cavs are coming into this game banged up. Their leading scorer Donovan Mitchell is a game time decision due to a hamstring injury, Darius Garland is OUT, and Jarrett Allen is OUT. So the Cavs could be without 3 of their 5 starters tonight which seems to make the Knicks and automatic play.
The Knicks took the Cavs out of the playoffs with a 4-1 series win last year. The Knicks also got the best of the Cavs in the regular season going 3-1 last year. So the Knicks are 7-2 in their last 9 against the Cavs.
With big man Allen out for the Cavs, the Knicks should be able to grab offensive rebounds for second chance points. NY is 4th in offensive rebounding so far this season.
The Knicks beat the Cavs at full strength last year so I like them to beat the Cavs who won’t be at full strength tonight.

Alt Points Line Parlay
Julius Randle 15+ / Jalen Brunson 15+ / Kevin Durant 25+ / Kawhi Leonard 15+ / Paul George 15+ (-126)
Julius Randle has struggled a bit to start the season but it hasn’t been due to a lack of shooting, he’s just been missing shots. He’s still averaged 13.7 and he should be able to get his shooting percentage up with some high quality shots with Allen out tonight.
Jalen Brunson has averaged 20 this season and his shooting has been off. He scored 20+ in all 5 playoff games vs the Cavs last season.
Durant has gone over 25 in 2 of his 3 games and his minutes were down in the last game due to it being a blowout. Booker is a game time decision so if he’s out Durant should hit this number easily.
Kawhi and Paul George will be getting their shots up tonight because they know James Harden is on the way to town and he’s going to hog all the shots. Both of these guys have gone for 15+ in all 3 games so they should be able to score 15+ again tonight.
MLB:
8:03 EST
DBacks (-112)
The DBacks got screwed on a call last night which extended the inning and allowed the Rangers to score the 3 runs but you can’t change that now.
All that matters now is Game 4 and the DBacks should be confident going up against Rangers starting pitcher Andrew Heaney who they scored 6 runs in 4.2 innings against in a 12-7 win earlier this season. Jon Gray was going to start this game but he had to come in to pitch last night when Scherzer got hurt.
Heaney has 4 appearances in the Postseason but he’s only pitched more than 1 inning in one of them. However, if the DBacks grab an early lead we could see Heaney get extended to preserve the bullpen guys for Game 5.
I’m confident in the DBacks lineup to score some runs off of Heaney and whoever comes in after him.
Both bullpens worked yesterday and were lights out.
It will be a bullpen game for the DBacks and that worked out for them in Game 4 of the NLCS vs the Phillies.
Another major factor is the oblique injury to Adolis Garcia, there hasn’t been any update as of this morning but obviously if he’s out that’s a huge advantage for the DBacks.
Let’s go with the DBacks to even up the series tonight.
