Pretty annoying to miss the Alt player prop by 1 yard after Etienne actually had it but the Chiefs got a penalty and pretty annoying that somehow someway the Chiefs lost to blow the two day parlay. It’s a big swing but from a mindset standpoint, let’s look at it as the two day L was from Sunday so we finish last week up 5 units and then the Alt L is from this week so we really went 1-1 yesterday since the Dodgers won. 15-8 in October.

MLB:

4:08 EST

Tigers (+118) - The Tigers will have Jack Flaherty going who isn’t the guy he used to be but he has a lot of postseason experience and he’s a solid guy to have on the mound for a Game 3. He held the Guardians to 1 run over 4.2 innings in his last start and he held this Mariners lineup to 2 runs over 5 innings earlier this season. Logan Gilbert will pitch for the Mariners and they went 1-1 in games he pitched against the Tigers this season. The Tigers do come in with some solid numbers against him and the projected lineup is hitting .338 against him. Let’s take the Tigers to take Game 3 at home.

8:08 EST

Blue Jays (+133) - Do you have the Bieber Fever? The Blue Jays have gone 5-2 in his starts this season. He’s always dominated the Yankees and has held them to a .154 avg in 54 at bats. Carlos Rodon will pitch for the Yankees and they went 0-2 against the Jays with him on the mound. He struggled with his control last time he faced them and had 5 walks. Rodon had 3 walks his last start as well so that will be key to watch. Free passes to a lineup that has scored 23 runs in the first 2 games of this series will cost him if that happens. Toronto is 10-5 vs New York this season and they have all the momentum so let’s take the +133 for the “unthinkable” Blue Jays sweep.

NHL:

5:00 EST

Panthers ML / Rangers ML (-109) - Since we are taking underdogs for MLB I figured we could take the big favs parlay for NHL Opening night to hopefully start the season with an easy empty netter. The Panthers are the defending back to back Champs and they will host the Blackhawks who finished 2nd to last in the Western Conference last season. Florida will be without their top two players due to injury and could be missing a few others but they are still deeper and better than the Blackhawks. The Rangers missed the playoffs last year so they will be looking to bounce back this year and open up against a Penguins team who they went 3-1 against and all 3 of those wins came by 2+ goals last season.
