Ouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuch! Both underdogs lose in MLB after the +133 Blue Jays were up 6-1 and our NHL parlay lost because of the Rangers. That’s a set back for the week so it’ll be crucial for us to bounce back with a winning day today.

Mariners (-106) - The Mariners got the bats going last night to take the 2-1 series lead and they have a chance to close it out today. They will face Casey Mize who has been good for the Tigers but the last time this Mariners lineup faced him, they beat him 15-7 after knocking him out after 3 innings. Mize also only lasted 3 innings his last time out despite only giving up 1 hit. That’s key because this Tigers bullpen had to work a lot last night after Flaherty got yanked early. NOW, we also have to keep in mind what COULD happen if Mize gets pulled early, the Tigers could potentially throw Skubal out there with the season on the line, he’s scheduled to pitch tomorrow but if the Tigers lose, there ain’t no game tomorrow. Skubal was great in Game 2 but the Mariners won the game just like they have all 3 times they have faced him this season. Bryce Miller is pitching for the Mariners and he’s held this Tigers lineup to a .231 avg lifetime. Let’s take the Mariners as slight underdogs.

Team Total

Brewers Over (2.5) 💪 - The Brewers have scored 9 and 7 runs in the first 2 games of this series. The series shifts to Wrigley Field and the wind will be blowing in but they scored 3+ runs in 5 of their 6 games at Wrigley Field this season (83% trend). They will face James Taillon who they scored 5 runs in 4 innings against last time they faced him at Wrigley and scored 8 runs in that game. They also left 6 guys on base in that game. It will be tough to hit the ball out tonight nut with 24 hits in the first 2 games of the series, I’m confident in the Brewers getting guys on base and getting them in for 3+ runs. Betting strong to win 1 unit here.

Parlay

Dodgers ML / Oilers ML (+121) - The Dodgers will look to close out the series tonight and they have Yamamoto on the mound who has a 0.54 ERA since the beginning of September, to put that in perspective, he’s allowed 2 earned runs in his last 33.2 innings pitched. He faced the Phillies once this season and held them to 3 hits over 6 innings. Aaron Nola will pitch for the Phillies amd the Dodgers beat him earlier this season. The Dodgers have gone 4-1 in their last 5 against Nola. The Oilers begin another quest for the Cup after losing in the Finals back to back years. The open up as huge home favorites where they went 25-13-3 and host the Flames who they went 2-1 against last season. The Flames shocked the league last year but I expect a little less puck luck from a pretty average team this year and could see a double digit drop in points. Oilers open up with a win at home and hopefully that Oilers fan dumps em out for us.
