2-1 and just short on the Dodgers but was really all over calling that Mookie homer and Hernandez bomb. On to Wednesday!

Phillies (Suarez) (+102) 🥇
Phillies down in the series and facing elimination which I feel will bring out the best of them in this game tonight.
Ranger Suarez is on the mound who has had success against this Mets lineup in his career holding them to a .238 avg in 143 at bats.
The Phillies will face Jose Quintana and 5 of the top 6 hitters in their lineup have taken him deep before. Love that stat because 1 long ball could win this game.
7:08 EST
Royals (Lugo) (-102) 🥈
Second underdog of the day…but Seth Lugo has dominated this Yankees lineup this season. He threw 7 scoreless innings against them with 10 strikeouts the last time he faced them and had 14 ground ball outs in 7 innings the other time he faced them. Long term numbers he’s held the Yanks to a .229 avg.
Clarke Schmidt will pitch for the Yankees and the Royals have had success against him hitting .314 in 51 at bats.Â
The Royals could realistically be up 2-0 in this series and having Lugo going tonight is a major advantage for them.
Everyone is betting Yankees tonight so I don’t mind putting my money on the underdog with better numbers for the matchup. There’s a reason the underdog is only -102 odds.
9:08 EST
Dodgers (+115) 🥉
Should have won last night and we are taking them again tonight.
They are facing Dylan Cease who they hit hard in Game 1 plus he’s on short rest which is always a wild card thing. This is his first time ever pitching on short rest.
The Dodgers have not announced a starter yet but the baseball world is going to turn into chaos when they announce that Shohei Ohtani is taking the mound with the season on the line…..kidding….kind of….
Anyway, the Dodgers said it is going to be a bullpen day so one thing I like about that is that this Padres lineups won’t get the same look at the same pitcher twice tonight.Â
Everything has gone the Padres way so far including the play that sparked the rally last night with Machado running inside the baseball to block the throw. There’s got to be some regression there.
There’s also the revenue aspect for the league to have a Dodgers vs Padres winner take all Game 5 on a Friday Night with all the drama in this series. Sign me up for that.
