2-1 Friday and the one miss was literally by 1 point from Randle again. He had 15 at halftime and finished with 19 when we needed 20. We will take the winning day and really look to shift the week for the positive today. We are due for a S W E E P! Let’s get it!

BYU / Texas Tech Over (51.5) - #7 vs #8 and these teams have been putting up big numbers. Texas Tech has scored 40+ in 3 of their last 4 games and BYU is coming off of a 41 point game. The defensive averages look strong but you can look through each schedule and see some recent weak spots. It’s fair to say that the numbers are boosted on both sides for both teams thanks to some weaker opponents on the schedule. But I like 51.5 for teams who have been dropping 40 themselves in recent weeks. Texas Tecg has a nasty pass rush but I think dual threat BYU QB Bear Bachmeier will be able to take advantage of that and make plays with his feet. BYU doesn’t make mistakes which I think will allow them to hang around in this game too. There will be some wind which will effect field goals and the passing game but both offenses can move the ball through the air and on the ground. Start the day with an over.

Jeremiah Smith (Ohio St) Receptions Over (5.5) - Smith has had 6+ receptions in 6 of his 8 games this season (75%) trend. Today’s matchup is on the road vs a bad and I mean BAD pass defense Purdue. They rank 95th against the pass and allow 409.5 passing yards per game. That’s a crazy stat since they haven’t even faced a Top 10 offense yet. Now the Heisman favorite will be throwing to Smith who is also a top Heisman candidate against this bad Purdue defense. Smith should have a HUGE game and go over 5.5 catches and 85.5 yards whichever one you prefer to play.

Oregon ML / Coastal Carolina ML (-116) - #9 Oregon going on the road to face #20 Iowa. But let me remind you what has happened to Iowa vs Top 10 opponents in their last 4, 35-7 L, 26-0 L, 31-0 L, & 54-10 L. Iowa did hang around with Indiana earlier this season before the were #2 but Oregon is the better team here and I could see them opening this one up. Coastal Carolina is facing a Georgia St team that has allowed 38, 41, 41, & 70 points in 4 of their last 5 games! Coastal had a slow start to the season but they have won 4 of their last 5 and they’ve scored 44 & 45 in their last 2 games so they are clicking going in against an opponent who hasn’t been playing defense. Let’s take Oregon and Coastal Carolina on the moneyline parlay since it’s better odds than the teaser number.

LSU / Bama Over (49.5) - Bama list their opener but have gone on a 7 game winning streak since then. Ranked opponent or not, Bama has scored 30+ in every home game this season. LSU is coming off of a game vs Texas A&M where they were gashed for 49 points. They fired their coach after that but that’s not going to be enough for them to shut down this Bama offense who should score 30+ again tonight. LSU’s offense should be good for 30+ touchdowns too. Bama’s defense is solid but don’t forget LSU was #3 not that long ago. They have playmakers who can make plays vs this Bama defense. 5 of the last 6 head to head matchups between these two have gone over 49.5. Get the popcorn ready 🍿
