Well it came late but Gus Edwards capped off his player prop with an exclamation point covering the prop on one single play with like 3 minutes left. Sutton went over 4.5 but he did not go over his yards prop so those of you who locked in the 4.5 early went 2-0 yesterday and those of you who didn’t get in on Sutton until later in the day went 1-1. That’s 7-1 or 6-2 on the week so pretty fucking good either way. Weekend up! College Football Playoff up! LFG!

Florida ML / Notre Dame ML (-137) 🥇 🔨
You guys know my general feeling about SEC teams vs NON SEC teams and that’s at full strength. Take the starting QB away from the NON SEC team and it makes it a no brainer who’s going to win that matchup. Florida has a lot of momentum with a strong finish to the season and 7-5 is over achieving with the schedule they played. They knocked off ranked SEC opponents in 2 of their final 3 before literally fucking the Noles from behind on rivalry weekend. The Gators will have the edge on both sides of the ball with Lagway playing great and the defense will hold up against Tulane’s playmakers and backup QB.
THEN we have Notre Dame to win in the first official real deal College Football Playoff game. It’s a historic day for College Football.
Weather in South Bend is VERY cold with real feel temps in the teens and a potential for some lake effect snow which is unpredictable…could be nothing or could be something.
I still think the weather favores Notre Dame’s #3 ranked defense allowing 13.6 ppg. Yeah I know, they “didn’t play anyone” but they went 3-0 vs ranked opponents while IU “didn’t play anyone either” until they ran into Ohio State and lost 38-15 in a game where it wasn’t even close.
IU has the #1 run defense but they will be tested vs ND 224.8 rushing yards per game. Ohio St did not have a problem running on IU.
IU’s success has really come when they can throw the ball but I think ND’s top defense parlayed with the weather will limit that element of the IU offense which means they could be in real trouble tonight because I think ND will give up rushing yards but they will clamp down in the Red Zone which they are ranked Top 10 in. We saw this vs two of the best rushing offenses in College Football vs Army and Navy.
