Lol well what the fuck! Back to back losing days with some horrific blatant missed calls from the officials to stop the Chiefs from scoring at the end last night to have a chance to tie. Philly not covering +10 on a teaser was a shocker too. It’s Monday so it’s a good day to just reset and get back to winning. Let’s put together a winning night to start the week.
NHL:
Stars (-118)
The Stars will take on the Lightning who they just beat 8-1 on Saturday. It’s crazy how they put in on the Lightning early and often in that one.
It seems crazy the Stars are only -110 in the rematch tonight but one stat to note is that Tampa went just 1 for 6 on the Power Play in that game.
Still, it looks like Vasilevskiy will be in net for Tampa and he just gave up 6 goals in 2 periods to the Stars before getting benched on Saturday.
The Lightning have also been struggling with 4 straight losses and all of them coming by 2+ goals.
Oettinger will be in net for the Stars and he’s 6-1 in road games decided in regulation this season. He also comes in with a Top 10 2.44 GA/G and just held the Bolts to 1 goal on Saturday.
Value is on the Stars here despite the shift in home ice from Dallas to Tampa from 2 days ago.

Celtics ML / Jaguars ML (-137) - JACKHAMMER
The Celtics will play their first game in the single elimination rounds of the NBA in season tournament. They will be on the road taking on the Pacers who just don’t play defense. They rank dead last in the league in team defense and have allowed 129, 142, & 132 in recent games. The Celtics dropped 155 on them the first time they played them this season and won by 51 points.
The Pacers leading scorer Tyrese Haliburton is questionable with an illness tonight so if he’s out the Celtics will almost certainly win this game by double digits.
The Jaguars get the Burrow-less Bengals and those Bengals struggled to score 10 points in their first full game with backup QB Jake Browning in.
I think the 8-3 Jaguars will get whatever they want on offense in this game and I think the Bengals offense will struggle again. The Jags could easily win by double digits too but we are just parlaying the moneylines here.

Player Prop
Travis Etienne Jr Rushing Yards Over (67.5)
Etienne has only gone over this number in 1 of his last 6 games which doesn’t look great on paper for this prop bet BUT he’s going up against the Bengals defense tonight that’s 31 out of 32 against the run this season allowing 139.6 rushing yards per game.
The Bengals have really been thrashed on the ground in each of their last 3 games for 188, 157, & 153 so I feel good about Etienne getting it going on the ground in this matchup.
