VIP Picks 2/22/25

1-2 Friday but a very rough stretch the last few days. DIG out today and tomorrow!

College Baseball:

Parlay

Auburn ML / Virginia ML (-128) 4️⃣

  • Auburn facing Wright State who they beat 11-0 yesterday

  • #2 Virginia facing unranked and 1-3 Minnesota. Virginia took a tough L last night vs a very good Oregon St team but should bounce back today.

College Basketball:

12:00 EST

Alabama ML / Florida ML / Duke ML (-139) 🥇

  • Similar to our College Football Saturday weekly big moneyline parlay we are riding this one today. I LOVE THIS PLAY!

  • Bama tips it off at home against Kentucky who they already beat this season and Kentucky has two of their best players still dealing with injuries - Lamont Butler and Jaxson Robinson. Missing offensive fire power will hurt Kentucky vs the #1 ranked offense in the Nation.

  • #2 Florida is on the road vs LSU who is 0-5 vs ranked teams so Florida should be able to get the straight up win for us. They are the better team even if they don’t play their best basketball, it’s that simple.

  • #3 Duke is on the road vs unranked Illinois and Illionois just got slaughtered by 21 vs #11 Wisconsin on Tuesday. Cooper Flagg and Duke for the win here.

NHL:

3:00 EST

Capitals (-162) 🥈

  • The Caps lost 3 of 5 going into the break but they still have the most points in the Eastern Conference with 80.

  • They will take on the Penguins this afternoon who they beat 4-1 in the last head to head meeting and really dominated if you look at the metrics closely - 32 to 19 shots, 27-17 hits, 29-24 faceoffs, & 4 to 2 Power Play opportunities.

  • Despite a couple rough games for goaltender Logan Thompson, he’s still 3rd in save percentage and wins for goalies this season so I always feel good putting my money on one of the best goaltenders.

6:00 EST

Avalanche (-135) 🥉

  • Teams are coming off of the 4 Nations break but this is a great price for the Avs despite being on the road.

  • The Avs beat the Preds 5-2 and 3-2 in the two most recent meetings and the Avs come in winners in 4 of their last 5 while the Predators have lost 4 of their last 5.

  • Colorado has been a better road team than home team this year which is weird to see for them but 17-12 on the road is a solid record.

  • Let’s take the value on the Avs and hope for an AVALANCHE of GOALS in Nashville tonight!
