A little slap in the face yesterday 0-2 on the day but still 6-2 on the week and I have to be honest I was getting a little sketched out if we took like a 12-0 winning streak into Super Bowl Sunday in other words I think we were going to take a losing day at some point and now it’s out of the way for us tor absolutely CRUSH Fri, Sat, SUNDAY!

Waste Management Open Round 2
Sepp Straka Under (69.5) 🥈
Straka had 4 bogeys and still finished 70 (-1) in Round 1 yesterday.
He’s been playing great golf in recent weeks with a 7th and 1st place finish as well as 15th a couple weeks before that.
The weather is looking picture perfect this afternoon for his 2:55 tee time with 72 degrees and slight 7 mph breeze.
He’s 6 strokes back of the lead so I’d expect him to be aggressive today and honestly if he can limit the bogeys, he can definitely go low today.
69 (-2) seems like a lock in this spot this afternoon.

Waste Management Open Round 2
Nicolai Hojgaard Under (70.5) 🥉
He shot a 66 (-5) yesterday and that was with 3 bogeys.
He’s had a few bright spots but a lot of missed cuts in his PGA career to this point but he’s only 23.
He’s clearly feeling pretty good after yesterday’s round and he’s just 2 strokes off the lead.
Perfect weather and I expect 70 or lower from him today.

Rangers ML / Suns ML (-109) 🥇
The Rangers will be at home hosting the Penguins who they have already beat twice this season and they’ve really outplayed them in both games winning 6-0 and 4-2. They out shot them by 19 in those games and NY went 0 for 6 on the Power Play in those games so it could have been even more dominance for them. The Penguins have some key guys listed as day to day on the injury report so that makes me like the Rangers even more here.
The Suns have been struggling losing 4 of their last 5 and reports said the locker room was toxic in anticipation of the trade deadline. The trade deadline has passed and Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal are still with the team. That shows that the front office is buying in to this group to see if they can turn things around in the 2nd half of the season. They are home tonight vs the Jazz who they have gone 3-0 against this season and beat them by an average of 8 points a game in those wins.
