He didn’t make any separation in Round 2 but he’s tied for 1st with two other guys going into Round 3.
Reading into to Round 3 score odds, the books project Homa and Dechambeau to be around par while they project Scheffler to go -2 or better.
Scheffler was seen on the range hitting balls after dark after his round yesterday. He wants it more than the other guys.
You can take this at any point throughout the day but if he gets a couple birdies early this is going to drop below even money odds.

Jon Rahm Under (71.5) 🥈
8-11 mph winds in the forecast for Rahm’s round today and he should be able to make a push today.
His +4 and +1 rounds to this point have been disappointing for the defending Champ and chasing 11 strokes probably isn’t possible for him to come back but he’s not going to just tuck his tail.
This should make him play aggressively which makes me feel good about him today, we need -1 or better and we’ve seen him do that plenty of times at this course.

Phillies ML / Braves ML (+144) 🥉
I’m looking for this one to make up for some of the MLB cold streak this week at a nice +144
The Phillies will be home with Spencer Turnbull on the mound who has yet to allow an earned run this season. He’s also pitched 5+ innings in both starts so he should go deep into this game.
Marco Gonzales will pitch for the Pirates and he’s been solid through 2 starts but this Phillies lineup comes in hitting .300 against him.
Chris Sales will pitch for the Braves and he’s posted a 3.38 ERA through 2 starts with 13 strikeouts. He’s facing a 2-12 Marlins lineup today who he has held to a .227 avg in a small sample size.
The Marlins will have a young Max Meyer on the mound who only has 4 career starts under his belt. Let’s trust the #1 lineup in the league to get some runs off of the young guy.

Altuve has hit safely in 13 of his 15 games this seasonÂ
He comes in with great numbers against the Rangers starter Andrew Heaney - .317 avg with 2 career homeruns in over 40 at bats.
Freddie Freeman has been tearing it up as well hitting safely in 8 of his last 10 games
He’s never faced Padres starter Matt Waldron but Waldron did allow 9 hits to the Cardinals in one of his starts this season so the Dodgers should be hitting him tonight. The Dodgers and Padres have played a couple high scoring games this season as well and tonight looks like it will be another.

Alex Pereira (-130) 🥈
I’ve always enjoyed betting on Hill and we’ve done well in doing so but we have to go Pereira here for a few different reasons.
First and foremost, Hill is coming back from an achilles injury he suffered in a basketball game 9 months ago and the doctors say 9 months is the earliest someone should return to intense activities. So he’s back, but how much cardio training has he been able to do prepping for this fight? I’m skeptical of that and Pereira is in great shape so this seems like a huge advantage for him.
Second is the competition level with Pereria knocking off (or out) Prochazka and Adesanya as well as wins over Strickland and Blachowicz. Hill has back to back wins against 40+ year olds in 2023 and 2022.
Finally is the footwork which Hill’s is messy so Pereira should be able to pick apart his movement and set up his attacks.
Pereira opened at -160 but it’s moved back to -130. I don’t think it makes sense and Pereira looks more like a -160 to -180 favorite in this Main Event tonight.
