It’s another good matchup for the Braves today going up against JP France who gave up a snowman (8) in 4 innings in his last start. He’s 0-2 with an 8.22 ERA so far this season so the Braves should jump him today.
Max Fried will pitch for the Braves and he was uncharacteristically hammered in his first 2 starts of the season but he bounced back nicely his last time out (vs the Marlins but still) 6.1 innings and 1 earned run. Fried has also held this Astros lineup to a .163 avg in 49 at bats.

The Yankees will face Kevin Gausman and from what we have seen from him so far this season, he ain’t as good as he was last year. Gausman came into the season as the Cy Young favorite and he’s proceeded to throw batting practice in 2 of his 3 starts allowing 6 runs in 3.2 innings and 6 runs in 1.1 innings.
That 6 runs in 1.1 innings came against this Yankees lineup on 4/6. Judge and Stanton both hit bombs off of Gausman in the 1st inning.
Stroman will pitch for the Yankees and he threw 6 scoreless innings against the Blue Jays on 4-5.
The Yanks have lost the first 2 games of this series but they are due for a win today and have a major advantage for the hitting and pitching matchups.Â

The Phillies came through for us last night so we are going right back to them tonight.
They are going to face Rockies starter Ryan Feltner who Harper, Realmuto, Bohm, and Castellanos all come in hitting over .500 against in their career. Feltner hasn’t been bad so far this season but he’s been bad throughout his 4 year career with a career ERA of 5.80.
Cristopher Sanchez is pitching for the Phillies and they have gone 0-3 with him on the mound but he hasn’t pitched poorly, he’s pitched 5+ and allowed 2 or less earned runs in 2 of his 3 starts. He’s also held the Rockies he’s faced to 1 for 12 lifetime.Â
