VIP Picks 4/19/24

1-0 yesterday to make some more movement and then our Cubs game got rained out but luckily for us, they are playing it this afternoon for some Friday Day action! Let's start with that and then see what else we can win tonight.

2:20 EST

Cubs (Taillon) (-175) 🥇 STRONG - bet to win 1 unit

  • Same matchup that got rained out last night so let’s bet it today!

  • The Cubs will host the 4-15 Marlins

  • AJ Puk will pitch for the Marlins and he had an outing at Wrigley last year where he allowed 3 runs and couldn’t even record 3 outs.

  • James Taillon will pitch for the Cubs and it will be his first start of the season. He’s held this Marlins lineup to a .257 avg in a small sample size.

  • The Cubs have been hot winning 4 of their last 5 and the Marlins have lost 3 of their last 4.

7:20 EST

Braves ML / Dodgers ML (+123) 🥈

  • The Braves will be home tonight and they will face lefty Andrew Heaney who they come in hitting .344 against in a small sample size.

  • Chris Sale will pitch for the Braves and he’s held this Rangers lineup to a .208 avg in a small sample size.

  • The Dodgers will be home and facing Sean Manaea who they have good history against hitting just under .300 against in over 140 at bats!

  • Yamamoto will pitch for LA and he hasn’t faced the Mets before but he’s looked really good in 2 of his 4 starts.

  • The Dodgers are coming off of a weak ass series against the Nats but look for them to bounce back this weekend.

9:30 EST

Kings ML 🥉

  • The Pelicans went 5-0 against the Kings in the regular season and all of the games were high scoring. We hit the over on their game last week by 42 fucking points! But tonight we are taking the Kings to win and advance to the playoffs.

  • Zion is out and that’s a major factor for the Pelicans offense. Ingram didn’t even really play down the stretch against the Lakers the other night.

  • The Kings played a perfect game vs the Warriors and blew them out 118-94.

  • The Kings were solid on the road this season and they seem to be in better shape for this game tonight.
