The weekend didn’t go as planned and we finished down on the week. Let’s go back to the strategy we had a couple weeks ago where we limited our action and absolutely killed it. Winning week coming right up!

Yankees (Cortes) (-148) 🥈
What a great price for the Yankees playing the 1-9 Marlins and starting pitcher who they come in hitting .324 against in a small samples size.
Jesus Luzardo is pitching for the Marlins and it was August 11, 2023 when he took the mound on a mid summers night against the Yankees with expectations to pitch well. AND THEN he gave up 7 runs in 3.1 innings including a massive 464 foot moon shot from Aaron Judge.
This Yankees lineup has been better vs lefties than righties this season so I like the matchup.
Nestor Cortes and his mustache will pitch for the Yankees and his first 2 starts have not been good BUT he’s facing the Marlins who don’t have much history against him and who have scored 2 or less runs in 3 of their last 5 games.
Yankees should win this one.

UConn ML / Diamondbacks ML (+110) - JACKHAMMER 3 UNIT 🔨 🥇
UConn is going for back to back Championships tonight and they will take on Purdue in what the College Basketball world hopes to be a good game.
The way I look at it is what is Purdue going to do when UConn’s 7 footer off sets their 7 footer? Edey has scored 20+ in each of Purdue’s tourney games to this point including 30 and 40 point games but I won’t be surprised if he doesn’t score 20 tonight. Clingan is a beast for UConn defensively and we have seen that on full display.
Aside from the 7 footers in this matchup, UConn is by far and away better across the board and they’re playing like a machine right now. Hard to see them losing this game.
The Diamondbacks will get to face Rockies starter Kyle Freeland and that’s the guy who they beat 16-1 a couple weeks ago when they scored 10 runs in 2.1 innings against him. They come in hitting .356 against him in a large sample size of 157 at bats.
Zac Gallen will pitch for the DBacks and he only allowed 1 run over 5 innings against the Rockies a couple weeks ago. He’s held them to a .217 avg in 153 at bats.
