Back to back 2-1 nights, the homerun to spoil the perfect Monday sucked but it happens. First time Wheeler allowed a run in the first in 13 starts this season. We called the Braves 7 game losing streak being snapped and Chris Sale went 7 innings while only allowing 1 run and had 11 strikeouts. The Panthers sure did ride the momentum and absolutely dominated the Oilers in Game 3 last night. On to Tuesday with just MLB on the slate:

The Mets return home from their road trip and host the 30-35 Nationals tonight. They will be facing Mackenzie Gore who they have gone 5-1 against in his career despite not having great numbers against him. 6-2 Griffin Canning will get the start for the Mets and the last time he pitched against the Nationals the Mets won 19-5 after he tossed 5 scoreless innings in that game. Canning is also coming off of a solid start where he threw 6 scoreless innings against the Dodgers. Let’s take the Mets moneyline in this one.
