0-2 last night really sucked, I never would have guessed the Thunder would allow 40 points in the 2nd quarter and just pass the ball in to the other team for free layups multiple times but that’s how that one went. The First 5 under was looking solid too, until the 5th when there were 3 runs scored and then neither team scored in the second half of the game. On to Thursday!

Mets ML / Giants ML (+114)
The Mets will have Kodai Senga on the mound with his 2nd ranked 1.59 ERA and he only allowed 2 runs over 6 innings last time he faced this Nats lineup. Michael Soroka will pitch for the Nats and the Mets big bats have REALLY good numbers against him - Soto and Alonso are .454 with 3 homeruns against him. Then we have the Giants going against now 1-10 Antonio Senzatela aka betting baseball ATM with no fees. The Giants beat him 4-0 earlier this season and come in hitting .275 against him. Hayden Birdsong will get the ball for the Giants and he’s been solid this season with a 2.55 ERA the only call out is the length of his outings seem to fluctuate.

Round 1 Matchup
Sepp Straka over Sunjae Im (-150)
Straka has some good momentum with two wins in 2025 already with the most recent at the Truist Championship last month. He finished in 3rd place at Memorial last week and had 80% driving accuracy and hit 63.9% GIR. He’s coming in to this week with confidence. Im had his season highlight at The Master’s where he finished 5th but missed 2 of the last 3 cuts and finished 16 and 23 in the events that Straka finished 3rd and won. Datagolf shows Straka at +0.85 strokes gained per round for this event while Im is -2.16 so Straka has a massive 3 stroke favor and that’s why we aren’t worried about the -150 juice here we are just trying to get a winner to kick off Round 1.

Panthers (-145)
The Panthers clobbered the Oilers 6-1 in Game 3. The Panthers have now won 6 of their last 7 home playoff games. I expect the home dominance to continue in Game 4 tonight and I expect Florida’s defense to be another advantage for them tonight after holding the Oilers to 1 goal last game. The Oilers don’t have any answers defensively and have allowed 6, 5, and 3 goals in the first 3 games of this series. Panthers grab a 3-1 series lead tonight.
