2-1 last night so 2-2 on the week thanks to a very late gag job by the Red Sox. On to today as we go for our 3-0 hump day!

4:10 EST

Red Sox / Angels Over (8.5)

These two teams have gone over 8.5 in 3 of their 5 games this season. 2-6 Yusei Kikuchi will pitch for LA and Boston comes in hitting just under .300 against him. Dick Fitts is pitching for the Sox and it’s his first start since 6/2 where he ironically allowed 6 runs in 1 innings pitched against this same Angels lineup and he allowed 3 homeruns in that one inning. Angel Stadium ranks 6th in homeruns hit in day games over the last 3 seasons and both of these starters are prone to serving it up for long balls. I like the over in this one as long as you get it early at 8.5. What do Yusei? If the Dick Fitts, take the over!

6:35 EST

Rangers (-155)

Jacob deGrom will pitch for the Rangers and he’s 7-2 with a 2.24 ERA and he’s on a 4 game winning streak. Brandon Young is pitching for the Orioles and he’s 0-1 with a 6.23 ERA. Young guy and the ball flies in Baltimore when it’s hot, 94 degrees at game time so it should be flying. I’ll take deGrom over Young here plus the Rangers won in extras last night so they have momentum coming into today. Don’t love putting my money on games with two teams under .500 but this is a good matchup for us.

7:10 EST

Parlay

Yankees ML / Dodgers ML (-111)

The Yankees have been going through a funk but they have their guy Max Fried on the mound tonight who has gone 9-2 on the season and is 3rd in ERA with a 2.05. Brady Singer is pitching for the Reds and he’s been pitching great lately but the Yankees have good numbers against him historically. Dodgers get to take batting practice in Colorado again, this time it’s against 2-7 Chase Dollander and his 6.19 ERA. They haven’t had the pleasure of facing him yet but I fully expect them to hit him hard. Yamamoto will pitch for LA and he hasn’t faced the Rockies yet this season but he’s 3-0 against them in his career.
