Back to back 2-1 nights and now 4-3 on the week going into Thursday. We’ve got some day action coming up today so let's get right into it!

PGA:

Golf has been atrocious for us in recent weeks 0-3 or 0-4 depending on if you got the no action on Hovland due to the injury last Sunday. I’m still attacking because we started golf so hot back in Jan going 6-2 out the gate.

Round 1 Score

Ben Griffin Under (68.5)

Ben Griffin has been playing good golf this season and he’s got Top 10 finishes in 4 out of his last 5 events. He’s +250 to finish Top 10 this week which I like but today’s official action is his Round 1 score going under 68.5. Par is 72 here at Detroit Golf Club so we need him to go -4 or better. He shot a 67 in Round 1 here last year and he wasn’t playing nearly as well in recent events last year missing the cut in 3 of the 5 coming in plus a 67th place finish. The weather is looking pleasant for this afternoon and there’s more than a handful of players from the early groups who have already gone -4 through 9 or 10 holes at the time of writing. Griffin should be able to score today. He’s gone under 68.5 in 3 of his last 4 with scores of 67, 69, 65, & 66 and that 69 was at the hardest fucking course on the planet.

*Want better odds and don’t care about waiting all weekend - Ben Griffin Top 10 Finish +250

MLB:

2:10 EST

Rays / Royals Under (10)

It’s hot in Kansas City and it’s a day game with the wind blowing 13 mph out to left center. That’s why the line is 10. BUT these teams have scored 10 or less runs in all 5 of their head to head matchups this season. The Royals have scored 2 runs or less in 4 straight games and they’ve only scored 1 run in their last 2 games in this series. Michael Lorenzen will pitch for KC and he’s held this Rays lineup in check to a .182 avg in a small sample size of 30 at bats. Shane Baz will pitch for TB and the Royals did rock him for 7 runs last time they faced him which makes me a little nervous but this Royals lineup is COLD right now. That game still pushed at 10.

Team Total

Dodgers Over (7.5)

A mid summer football play kind of, we are taking the Dodgers to score a touchdown and the 2 point conversion in Colorado today. I like the matchup for them vs Gomber and was looking at targeting a specific player but all the standards for hits are like -400 to -625 and the standard total base line is 3+  (for everyone). That’s because they have scored 8 and 9 runs the last two games and now it’s a day game, 85 degrees, at Coors Field with the most runs scored in day games for any park in the MLB the last 3 seasons. Oh, and this Dodgers lineup is leading the league in runs per game so they are primed to rake today. They face Austin Gomber who they come in hitting around .300 against and they have gone over 7.5 runs in 3 of the 4 games they have faced him at Coors Field in his career - listed from most recent results first - 11 runs, 13 runs, 4 runs, & 9 runs. I get it if you don’t want to take a baseball team to score 8, but if there’s ever a time to take it, it’s today with all of these trends pointing to an offensive EXPLOSION from the Dodgers offense.
