Tigers (-105)

Let’s take the value on the Tigers here tonight despite their current 5 game losing streak I think today’s the day that they snap it. They will face Rangers pitcher Kumar Rocker who comes in with a 6.39 ERA and has been hit hard in multiple starts this season. Keider Montero will pitch for the Tigers and he comes in 4-1 with a 4.02 ERA. He’s gone 5+ innings in 7 of his last 10 starts so I like him to give us a quality start.

Cardinals (-125)

Sonny Gray on the mound for the Cardinals and he’s gone 9-3 this season. His numbers are better at home than on the road but I still like taking the Cardinals in this matchup today. The STL lineup will face Ryne Nelson who they come in hitting .323 against in a small sample size. They had plenty of traffic on the bases last night but only went 2 for 9 with runners in scoring position so look for them to have more scoring opportunities tonight and cash in early vs Nelson. 

UFC:

Dustin Poirier (+120)

It’s been a while since we’ve touched UFC but this storyline tonight at +120 is too much to pass up on. Dustin Poirier is making his final fight in the UFC and it’s in his home state. A rocking home crowd and the final fight for a legend at +120 odds is a must take for me. He will be facing Max Holloway who is the favorite but Poirier has already beat him twice and gone 2-0 against him in his career. Both guys are coming off of losses. Let’s take The Diamond to go out on top.
