1-1 last night, 4-1 last 5, and 2-1 to start July. The Yankees let us down and apparently Gil needs to go on the do not touch list because he’s pitching BAD right now. On to Wednesday to turn in a winning day.
MLB:
6:40 EST
Red Sox (Bello) (-140) 5️⃣
The Red Sox are 10-4 over their last 14 games so they’ve been playing pretty good ball. They beat the Marlins 8-3 in the first game of this series last night.
Brayan Bello will pitch tonight and he has 1 career start against this Marlins lineup and he held them to 2 hits over 7 innings pitched so I like the look of that matchup for us.
The Marlins will have 1-8 Trevor Rogers on the mound who they have won back to back games with but for the most part, this guy has been a loser this season.
Let’s take the Red Sox to stay hot tonight.
7:07 EST
Astros (Blanco) (-115) 🥇
Ronel Blanco will pitch for the Astros and he threw a fucking NO HITTER against the Blue Jays the first time he faced them this season back on 4/1 so -115 is tremendous value on the Stros tonight.
The Astros bats will be going up against Blue Jays starter Yusei Kikuchi who has been getting tagged over the last month and has a 6.26 ERA during that stretch. The Astros come in hitting .300 against him in a large sample size of 84 at bats. 3 guys in the lineup have hit 2 career homeruns against Kikuchi.
7:07 EST
Hit Parlay
Alex Bregman / Christian Yelich (-132) 🥈
Bregman has hit safely in 25 of his last 30 games and he’s hitting .310 over the last month. He recently had a 16 game hit streak.
Bregman will also face Blue Jays starter Yusei Kikuchi who he comes in hitting .389 against in 17 career at bats with 2 career homeruns against.
Christian Yelich will be going against 2-11 Dakota Hudson who he comes in hitting .417 against in a small sample size and he has 2 career homeruns against him. Plus hitting at Coors Field gives the hitter an advantage with the thin air.
8:05 EST
Padres / Rangers Over (8.5) 4️⃣
Nothing like some SMOKED Texas BBQ and I am seeing that on the menu for this game tonight.
Padres starting pitcher Adam Mazur has allowed 18 runs in 22.1 innings pitched this season 3 of his last 4 starts have gone OVER 8.5 with run totals of 16, 13, and 12!
Jon Gray will pitch for the Rangers and he’s been tossing a little extra sauce on his BBQ lately allowing 8 runs in his last start and 9 runs in another recent start. Those were 2 of his last 3 starts and there were run totals of 13 and 16 runs.
Both teams have gone over 8.5 in 3 of their last 5 games and they should knock around both starting pitchers in this one.
8:40 EST
Brewers (Rea) (-155) 🥉
7-2 starting pitcher vs 2-11 starting pitcher. I don’t care what the names are, I’m taking that 7-2 guy every time.
The 7-2 guy is Colin Rea and he’s been very solid this season with a 3.61 ERA. He hasn’t faced this Rockies lineup before and pitching in the thin air of Colorado might be a challenge but we can still trust him to turn in a solid start.
AND his team gets to hit against Dakota Hudson who is 2-11, not a typo, 2-11! At home, on the road, it doesn’t matter where he has pitched, he has been rocked this season. This Brewers lineup comes in hitting .333 against him in 33 at bats so 3’s are wild for this matchup. 3 BEER FOR ME PLEASE!!
