VIP Picks 7/31/25

Trade deadline day in the MLB and there are only 3 games on the slate today. We are going to start with a day action over and then if we hit that we can decide if we want to touch the night games or not.

Rays / Yankees Over (8.5)

This starts with Marcus Stroman pitching for the Yankees and he's rocking a 6.09 ERA on the season and coming off of his worst start yet where he gave up more runs than innings pitched. This Rays lineup has a .310 lifetime avg against him so they should hit him today. Ryan Pepiot will pitch for the Rays and he hasn't been bad but he has already lost to the Yankees twice this season. 2 of the first 3 games of this series have gone over 8.5 and I expect them to go over for us today.

I'm not interested in any of the night games so let's just take our 1-0 Thursday and get back in to a full slate tomorrow
