VIP Picks 7/7/25

3-0! 3-0! 3-0! Great Sunday and a great week for us overall! Could have been HUGE if we didn't lose that Yankees JACKHAMMER last Tuesday but it is what it is. We've got the last week of the first half of the regular season for MLB this week so I'm looking forward to having a big one. Let's kick it off with a 3-0 Monday!

They are hot and they are playing the worst team in the league so yes, we are grabbing the -1.5 at a hot and humid Fenway tonight where the ball should be carrying for the Red Sox offense. They will face lefty Austin Gomber and they hit lefties about 30 points better than righties. Dick Fitts will pitch for the Red Sox and he still hasn’t got a win on the season but he gets the 26th ranked lineup to go against tonight and he’s getting run support from the Red Sox lineup that has scored 6, 10, & 11 runs over their last 3.

Jose Altuve / Ketel Marte (+103)

Jose Altuve has been about as hot as us in July and he comes in with 10 hits in his last 5 games with multi game hits in 4 of his last 5. He’s going to be facing Tanner Bibee who he has never faced but Bibee has last 8 of the last 10 games he’s pitched. Ketel Marte will be facing Yu Darvish who he is hitting .290 against lifetime in a huge sample size of 38 at bats. Darvish will be making his first start of the season.

The Rangers will have deGrom on the mound and they have won 6 in a row when he’s pitching. 2.13 ERA on the season and 1.41 ERA in June, the guy is locked in. He’s had 5 straight games with 6+ strikeouts. He hasn’t faced the Angels this season but they have struggled against him in the past. 3-6 Kikuchi will pitch for the Angels and he wasn’t bad vs the Rangers last time but they still beat him 4-0. Texas has gone 3-0 vs the Angels on the season and the Angels have lost 4 of their last 5.
