1-2 start to the week not great with Altuve going 0-4 and the Rangers losing on a walk off walk, one of, if not, the worst way to lose a bet. Maybe the only other worse way is a player prop in football when a player already has his rushing yards and then gets tackled for a loss or a QB takes a knee. Can’t think of any worse ways to lose a bet. It is what it is though, 1-2 and it’s only Tuesday so let’s get back to winning tonight.

The Mets will be in Baltimore tonight to take on the Orioles and 0-3 Brandon Young, we’ve bet against him and won in each of his last 2 starts. He’s got a 7.02 ERA and the Mets bats should get to him tonight. 8-4 Clay Holmes will pitch for the Mets and he’s coming in with a 2.99 ERA plus he’s held this Orioles lineup to a .213 avg in a decent sample size of 47 at bats. This is a pretty good price at -125 for the Mets going up against Young who the O’s have been outscored 17-2 in his last 2 starts.

Red Sox ML / Blue Jays ML (+110)

The Red Sox offense stays hot last night and they’ve now scored 36 runs in their last 4 games. The last 3 have been against lefty starting pitchers who they hit 30 points better against which we called out in yesterday’s play and they get to face another lefty tonight. A left in Kyle Freeland who is 1-9 with a 5.49 ERA. He’s only pitched at Fenway one time in his career but he gave up 3 bombs in that game. Bello will pitch for Boston and he’s been consistently good so he should be good enough and get run support. The Blue Jays have won 9 games in a row and they will face 1-5 Aaron Civale who they come in hitting just under .300 against. Chris Bassitt is going for the Blue Jays and he’s struggled on the road but he IS just facing the White Sox who are the 28th ranked offense.
