Teaser/Alternate Line Parlay

Iowa State (+9.5) / Over (44.5)

First off Iowa St had a fantastic season last year and they have gone 5-0 ATS & 4-1 straight up vs Kansas St in their last 5. Iowa St lost their top 2 WR from last year but they still have QB Becht who ranked 11th in passing yards last season. Kansas St also has 2 new cornerbacks and a new safety so I expect Becht to have a good game throwing on them. I think he’s the difference in this game and could easily win the game outright but I’ll take the +9.5 cushion to have some breathing room with the Guinness I crack at 12:01 to watch this game in Ireland. As far as points for the adjusted over, both these teams averaged 30+ points a season ago. If you don’t want the teaser or adjust lines I’d suggest Iowa St +3 or the over in that order.

Hawaii (-130)

We are ON THE ISLAND and we don’t have to wait for an 11:59 EST PM kickoff. Two great reasons to take Hawaii but I’ve got more. It’s a run and gun offense and redshirt QB Micah Alejado takes over at QB. He got the start in the last game last season and threw for 469 yards and threw the ball 57 times. Stanford’s pass defense was one of the worst last season and expect them to suck again this year. Stanford has gone 3-9 in 4 straight seasons, that’s just a bad program. Stanford let their head coach go in the offseason and the program lost guys in the transfer portal. Hawaii returns talent to their secondary and line backing corps which were good last year but will replace their d line so that’s a question mark. Still, it feels like Alejado will be able the throw the ball all over Stanford and you know Hawaii coach Timmy Chang will be pushing that. Hawaii moneyline on the island.

MLB:

Astros (+105)

The Astros have won the first 2 games of this series and I like the value on them as underdogs today. Cristian Javier will pitch for the Astros and it’s only his 3rd start of the year due to injury but he’s always been a reliable pitcher for them. He’s held the Orioles to a .188 avg in his career. Dean Kremer will pitch for the O’s and he did pitch 7 scoreless vs the Astros last Sunday but the O’s have lost 5 of his last 6 and guys in the top of this Astros lineup have really good numbers against Kremer.
