We will take the winning day whether it was 2-0 or 2-1 some of you still took Brewers and some of you stayed off because of the pitching change. But the pitching change wasn’t what made them go 1 for 12 with runners in scoring position. Red Sox was a fun comeback in the 9th and the two team parlay was smooth sailing. We kick off out day with a two team MLB parlay and then College Football picks will be posted by 5 pm est.

Red Sox ML / Astros ML (+107)

Plus money here for two favorable matchups. The Red Sox go for the sweep for real today and they have their ace on the mound in Garrett Crochet who is 4th in ERA with 2.43 and he threw 8 scoreless innings against this Orioles lineup earlier this season. Lefty Cade Povich will pitch for the O’s and he’s lost 4 in a row and the Red Sox hit lefties well. Then the Astros take batting practice against Kyle Freeland who they come in hitting .315 against lifetime. Jason Alexander will pitch for the Astros and they have won 7 of his 8 starts since acquiring him.

Player Prop

Byrum Brown (USF) Rushing Yards Over (47.5)

I know not everyone will be able to take this one because it varies state by state on where you can bet College Player Props but this is a good one. USF is home and an underdog and I expect Brown to be under pressure who is a mobile QB. He went over this number in the first 3 games of last season before he got injured with 74, 108, & 72 rushing yards so this line seems light for what he is capable of. I’ll also point out that 108 yard game came against the #4 ranked Alabama defense which gives him some street cred. Boise St was solid against the run last season but UNLV mobile QB Williams ran for 105 & 56 on them. Look for Brown to go over this number tonight.

7:00 EST

UCF / Jax St Over (52.5)

There are a lot of new faces for both sides in this game but the reality is that UCF is a Big 12 team and Jax St is a Conference USA team. The talent on each roster is just simply on different levels. UCF opened last season by scoring 57 & 45 vs non conference opponents and Jax St opened by allowing 55 and 49 to non conference opponents. UCF brings back Head Coach Scott Frost who led the Knights to an undefeated 2017 and they led the Nation averaging 46.2 ppg. So UCF should be able to score early and often and they will play at a fast pace. I do expect some growing pains for the new guys in the Jax St offense but I also expect UCF to run away with this game which will lighten the defensive intensity late which should lead to some garbage time points to send this over if needed.

Oklahoma St ML / Nebraska ML / Wisconsin ML / San Diego St ML (-141)

I know some of you will have a problem with this one with the massive moneylines but the strategy is really to get Nebraska at -135 because I don’t see the other three losing but I don’t think it’s worth trying to tease them and worry about points. I like Nebraska tonight at Arrowhead Stadium. There is optimism for Nebraska Sophomore QB Dylan Raiola whose pregame routine mimics the other QB who wears red and plays at Arrowhead Stadium on Sundays. Raiola has a solid O line protecting him and adds transfers Dane Key and Nyziah Hunter from Kentucky and Cal at WR who are both capable of making big plays. Nebraska only returns 4 starts on defense but this Cinci offense really struggled down the stretch last year scoring 13, 15, & 17 over their last 3 games while QB Brendan Sorsby was held to 160 and 66 (yes 66 not a typo) passing yards in 2 of those games. I think there is more upside for Nebraska and I like them to get the win tonight.
