Well kind of a let down going 2-2 yesterday but 2-1 for those of you who can’t get player props but still annoyed we missed that one by 5 yards. Should have just taken South Florida moneyline like I was thinking but can’t second guess after the fact. The UCF and Jax St over was a bad play, we saw the offense come alive in the 4th after the 3 hour weather delay but it just wasn’t a good play for us. I can own that. Although without the pick on the final drive, it could have been 17-17 at 34 going into overtime and probably still would have gone over lol. Hey 2-2 nights don’t kill us, let’s move on to a LOADED weekend.

Army ML / Wake Forest ML / Michigan St ML / San Jose St ML (-154)

Big moneyline parlays are bread and butter (most of the time) so get used to seeing at least one a week as the season gets going. Army has some new faced but they will deploy the same style of offense, pound the ball and chew clock. It might not be pretty but they will win what I expect to be a rather low scoring game. Wake Forest Wake Forest will host Kennesaw St who made the jump to the FCS level last year and was one of the worst teams in all stat categories. Wake Forest wasn’t great by any means of 4-8 but are a level above this Kennesaw St team. Mich St has never lost to Western Michigan going 7-0 and all 7 wins have come by multiple scores, expect the same tonight. San Jose and Central Michigan could be an ugly low scoring game with coaches coming in from Army and Navy but Central Michigan has gone 0-10 in their last 10 road games against non ranked teams.

7:30 EST

Wagner (+45.5)

A different approach here than what we usually do but we are basically betting that Kansas can’t cover this huge number within the 60 minutes of the game. It’s a lock in and hold your breath kind of bet, like taking an under. Wagner sucks, they went 4-8 last year. But they did cover +45.5 in both of their non conference games last season. Kansas has come close but they haven’t covered this number in recent year matchups vs FCS opponents 48-3 vs Lindenwood last year and 48-17 vs Missouri St in 2023. Kansas whooped Fresno St 31-7 last week who is a better team than Wagner but looking back through the game log (I didn’t watch the actual game) it shows that Kansas took their foot off of the gas with their final 3 drives only have 4, 3, 4 plays. I think another thing to consider here is once Kansas jumps out to a big lead vs a sorry ass FCS Wagner team the second and even third stringers will see some time which will likely help chew the clock without widening the gap. If Wagner can score one time, even if it’s a field goal, I expect that to be enough for them to cover this massive spread. Kansas has not shut a team out since 2008 when they beat LA Tech 29-0.

8:00 EST

Auburn (-125)

This is the best game on the slate for tonight in my opinion and it’s going to be a lot of fun to watch with our money on the playmakers on this Auburn offense. Jackson Arnold transfers in from Oklahoma where he had a 12-3 touchdown to INT ratio last season. Auburn returns WR Cam Coleman who was tied for the team lead with 8 touchdowns last season and Malcolm Simmons who averaged 11.3 yards per catch last year. Those two guys longest plays of the season were 63 and 57. Auburn also brings in Eric Singleton who can FLY. Match this group up against a Baylor secondary who struggled vs the pass last year and we will see some EXPLOSIVE plays for the Tigers tonight. The Auburn offensive line is one of the most experienced in the country so they should be able to protect Arnold and give him time for big plays to develop down the field. Baylor’s defense also ranked 93rd in tackling last year so expect some YAC from the Auburn WRs tonight. The over under suggests a high scoring game and I’m more confident in Auburn’s defense getting a few stops in key spots plus I expect a lot from this Auburn passing offense for us tonight. WAR EAGLE!!

Astros ML / Cubs ML / Dodgers ML (+238)

MLB has been white hot for us so let’s go for this +238 payout tonight. Astros have El Reptil Cristian Javier pitchingand he’s dominated the Angels throughout his career to a .164 avg. Tyler Anderson pitching for LAA and they have lost 7 of his last 8 starts. Cubs take on 3-11 German Marquez in the Colorado thin air so that’s a great matchup for them. Dodgers face Zac Gallen who they beat 8-1 earlier this season and come in hitting .283 against him. Blake Snell pitches for LA and he’s held the ARI lineup to a .188 avg in over 100 at bats. Let’s cash this one!
