Not the Tuesday we wanted after the Monday we had but what can we do? Altuve went 0 for 5 to blow out hit parlay so we drop to 17-3 in our last 20. I was really hoping our Astros/Sox bet would come down to him hitting in the 9th to cover so we won 2 bets on one play but it didn’t play out the way I had it drawn up. Then our Braves/Mariners parlay reverted down to just Braves moneyline since the Mariners changed pitchers. Can’t really classify that as a win at -235 but we will take what we can to salvage the day and move on to today.
Guardians / Twins Under (8)
These two teams have played each other 9 times this season and 7 of them have gone under 8.
Sonny Gray will pitch for the Twins and both of his starts against CLE have gone under this season with final scores of 4-2 and 4-3. Sonny has a 2.48 ERA over his last 5 starts.
Tanner Bibee will pitch for CLE and he’s 10-3 with a 3.01 ERA this season so his workload has looked great. He held MIN to 3 runs over 5 innings in the only start he made against them this season. 8 of Bibee’s last 11 starts have gone under 8.
Let’s go with the under today - I also think there’s good value on no runs in the first at -120 for those of you who want to play that instead
Rangers (Dunning) (-155)
The Rangers will face the Mets and Denyi Reyes who has had a rough go allowing 10 runs in his last 5.2 innings pitched
The Rangers have won the first 2 games of this series and the Mets are just 3-7 in their last 10 games
Dane Dunning will pitch for TEX and he’s lost back to back starts but he should get back on track against this Mets lineup who has scored 3 or less runs in 7 straight games
TEX is in the middle of the Wild Card/Division race while the Mets are pretty well check out for the season
Braves ML / Dodgers ML (+123)
The Braves have scored 17 runs in the first 2 games of this series at Coors Field and the offense should continue tonight when they face Kyle Freeland who they knocked around for 7 runs in 4.1 innings last time they faced him on 6/15
ATL comes in hitting .348 against Freeland lifetime
25 year olf Darius Vines will get the start for ATL and he’s ready for the big leagues after posting a 2.86 ERA in 5 starts at the Triple A level and he should get plenty of run support in his MLB debut
The Dodgers have won the first 2 games of their series against the DBacks and they are facing 1-6 Brandon Pfaadt who they scored 4 runs in 4.2 innings against last time they faced him on 8/8
Ryan Pepiot looks to be the starter for LA but it’s not official yet. He’s turned in back to back good starts allowing just 2 runs over his last 9 innings pitched and LA won both of those games
